That's funny, because I have AT&T local/long distance and DSL, and my monthly bill is about $33. Of which $18 is for DSL. Leaving $15 to cover both my phone service, and the $20/month in taxes, fees, and other charges. Wow! I guess they're paying me to have phone service!

And that "hippie dust" you smell, that is called compassion and balance, and it is fueled by what many call "web 2.0" - a revolution in human norms with several billion people all awakening to the gross and ridiculous activities of many wealthy corporations of the world. You really should live it up while you still can karma will catch you.

Your attempt at a pejorative dig shows how intolerant and ignorant you are of what is happening outside of the TV-drivel-eating masses in the US-centric, capitalist, English-speaking money-worship isolated culture you espouse.

Nice cherry-pick on your retort too. The OP was written after I RTFA and your bolding of one phrase to support your argument is, well, powerful in it's own way.

  21. Re:Your confusion on Apple Mac OS X Update For 17 Vulnerabilities · · Score: 1

Did you ever have any development experience on mac? I love developing more on linux than on mac and windows. It is about the usability of the operating systems. Interface is not always graphical, there is something known as the interface with the system which matters a lot. Afterall the main role of any operating system is to provide a good interface upto the root level. If you're developing non-graphically, the interfaces in OS X should be about the same as on Linux. That's why much linux software has been ported to OS X, frequently involving simpy tweaking the make file. I have developed on Linux (KDevelop with QT, command line), Windows (VS, Eclipse), and Mac 7-X (THINK Pascal, CodeWarrior, XCode/IB, command line). Of these, I found THINK and CodeWarrior to be the best IDEs. For languages, you've got everything on every platform. Most of the Linux libraries are included in OS X, and it has Cocoa for GUI work (and Objective-C is just a nice language). Windows... well... whatever.
