Isn't Tony Stark Iron man? That Sci-Fi show Eureka has a guy buy the same name and he even creates his own company Stark Enterprises. I wonder if it was planned that way or does marvel have something to do with that show?
slick Willy could have done tings to prevent the war in the first place. Bush Sr. had the correct intelligence. But Bill was more into partying and screwing around then preventing the situation we are in now. The Cole happened under Billy's watch. That should have been a clear sign of things to come. All he did was shoot a few guided missiles.
kind of reminds me of the scenes from the Men in Black movies. Those little people in the locker. The question is does microsoft know that against the masses, they are the little people in the locker.
Apple support? What?! The apple support that I have seen is: Give apple your laptop/imac/ipod you get hardware fixed and the machine completely wiped (or a different ipod if ipod)
If the hard drive went bad I could see the machine being totally wiped but to replace a broken DVD drive? Why is formatting the hard drive needed to replace a broken DVD drive? I have seen this 7 times in the last 2 years. If the machine is fine except for the broken DVD drive, formatting and reinstalling shouldn't be needed.
there is some grass that yields more ethanol per acre then corn or wheat does. We are not growing it in mass. I looked it up, switch grass. Problem is I can find articles stating that this grass is better then corn and others stating that corn is better. Anyone know which is true? Does switch grass produce more ethanol per acre then corn or not?
if fonts are not copy right able then why are there so many agreements about not distributing them when one installs a font package? Font A is owned by this company, font b is owned by that company and so on. Why was such a big deal made when MS included a font that looked like this other font (is that legal battle still going on?)
Font matter to a lot of people. Fonts must be copy right able or something.
How many people are not capable of killing another person? The real answer: very few if any. Everyone is capable of killing, period. Not everyone does, they have no reason or desire to. (I am not talking about 1-2 year olds) What determines obvious signs that someone might go on a killing spree? Your sounding like a movie. A small set of people just know that these other people are going to commit so lock up/ medicate those people now. You did see "Minority Report" right?
The future is not set in stone. People can choose what to do.
No one likes the idea of metal detectors on the way into a building, but they would have alerted someone that something was up. Unless you are enrolled in NRA school, I don't see a reason to have a firearm in class.
They do that already in my state and still have taxes on the fuel. The tax amount per car is based on the cars value. So a 50k car is taxed higher then a 7k car. But we still pay taxes on fuel and the roads are still full of pot holes. Maybe all this revenue is going else where? I would love to see a law passed that forced the governments (local, county, state, and federal) to show all the revenue coming in and where it goes down to the penny. This will never happen though. The budgets that are posted are lacking. We did an estimated tax per household for our area (using what I pay I make 40k a year) times the number of houses. Based on their budget our tax revenue figured almost 70% of the budget. So either those people with the $3-4 million homes (small hotels) pay the same amount of taxes or something is very, very wrong.
duel fuel system or tanks? This sounds fins if you are driving a pickup or other larger vehicle. But those smaller diesel cars do not have the room for a second tank.
You can remove the quick time icon from the system tray: right click on the quick time, select quick time preferences, advanced tab, uncheck "install quick time in system tray"
It will still be running just not show that it is running.
1. a rail gun on the moon : Check 2. a bunch of big iron rocks: Check 3. Do as I say or I am gonna launch a rock into your city/country 4. ??? 5. Rule the world (for a while)
"The Government wants open source solutions. Companies need to start delivering. Companies that deliver will do very well. This is good for everyone, because improvements made to open source software and returned to the community benefits the world."
The government is not going to release the source to their new system until they have a replacement one up and running. Think about it for a minute. The US is using this new system. If the source was release to the public then whoever they are fighting can look up the source, then try to break it or run it themselves and their goes the US's 'upper hand'.
Your idea is great but it not going to happen. At least not what is currently in use.
you will be prompted for your password then gedit should start with full write permissions to sadi file. This is for Ubuntu for Kbuntu I think it is Kate?
If someone is new to linux and looks up how to do something, most of the answers say edit the file with VI, or VIM, or some other old school editor. Most of the hard core linux people prefer these editors to any graphical editor (these same people use that CLI based web browser). Also did gedit get changed to allow one to enter in their password to edit a restricted file? Last I tried it didn't. I had to open up the CLI and enter sudo gedit which got me what I wanted but someone new may not know that. Maybe a read me or quick how to text file put on the desktop in the install with answers may solve this. Last time I looked at the Ubuntu FAQ it also said to use VIM to edit config files. Has that changed?
have you installed it? I have a pent D 805 (running at stock) stock with 2 GB of ram. Not a high end machine and 2003 server is smother, faster, boots faster off a 7200 rpm drive then XP does on the same setup with a 10k raptor. Which is sad cause the raptor should blow away the other drive in speed. The only annoying thing is shutting it down. (I don't leave it on when I am not using it) I have to give it a reason. Price yea maybe that is a reason for all of the vista versions. Vista server (server 2008,9,10?) will also have a lot of versions.
side note: Has anyone looked at the beta for vista server yet? One of the roles is home media streaming server. Why would a business server os list home media server as a role?
Hell, I paid $1000 for my DVD player!!!
please tell me she is really, REALLY good in bed with the power out.....
People being used to power machines, reminds me of a movie.....

We could always go back to the old ways. You know, the stone age

so then all the HD/Blue ray stuff is out then too. Those 'special' cable needed to connect the play to the TV are all DRM.

Did he make the oil himself? If he bought it he paid some form of tax (unless NC is a tax free state).

Verizon more likely wants to dump the copper and go with FOIS to all.
