  1. Re:Most biased Slashdot article ever? on Another Victim Countersues RIAA Under RICO Act · · Score: -1
Whoa, whoa, whoa. What do you think you're doing by calling The Slashdot News Gods (tm) interjected biased opinions into question? That's part of good journalism, of solid news reporting. Clearly it takes talent to spend a solid 20-30 minutes typing an eight- or nine-sentence story using a standardized web form. Don't be so judgmental of those who require extended periods of "thinking time" while they try to be clever using every bit of wit they can muster instead of simply reporting a story with some links for reference.

And then you have the nerve to point out the obvious bias of the moderation system that's currently in place? Surely you realize that linux is what intelligent people install on every system that can support it, and that google is the equivalent of jesus on a tricycle. How dare you question the all-knowing, all powerful moderators of this elite site.

You are a troll, and you have been moderated down as such. Because god forbid you should state the obvious.

I swear, each and every day the level of topics posted drops farther and farther below the level of relevancy. How about posting something more relevant, such as CNN's Sunday headline story that contains the paragraph:

As of Sunday morning, the official death toll in Louisiana was 154. Officials in five states put the overall total of dead at 383.

I mean, firing the idiot governor of the state of Louisiana would be in order right about now since he swore up and down that "this is our tsunami" and "I estimate the death toll to be about 10,000." Clearly this has more relevance than someone's opinion about what they think are stupid ideas regarding security.

This is awesome! This of course only deepens my convictions regarding the quality of work that goes into open source development. Not to mention that after making one and a half times minimum wage to do it, these poor idiots will quickly realize that to actually earn a living they'll need to go to work for a commercial development organization where the standard of quality actually matters. God bless google and the open source community (a statement which nullifies itself).

Man I'd have to agree, why would you run a bunch of craptastic open source software written by a bunch of misfits from around the world who only support the open source movement because they're constantly hoping to run across some decent code written by someone else since they can't do it themselves.

Just run Microsoft server software which is able to easily support and play nicely with other Microsoft server software (assuming you don't get some jerkoff that swears he can run MS server software just because he was able to install it from a bootable CD), and you're in business.

Why are any of you even commenting on this? Not a single one of you were even affected directly by the hurricane, otherwise you wouldn't have time to sit around on your asses making idiotic commentary about the evil Microsoft browser requirement. I'm pretty sure if someone who needed to file a claim even had access to a computer, they probably wouldn't give a shit if they had to run IE, they'd just want their damn money so they could move on with their lives.

Just quit it already, this whining about IE isn't becoming to half of you that normally have decent posts.

I hate google, always have. They contribute nothing except a bunch of craptastic goooooogle ads and they're simply overrated. Despite Ballmer's mental instability, nothing would make my day more than to watch google's stock price fall into the penny stock range and listen to the faint screams of people jumping out their office windows upon realizing what a mistake it was to invest in google. Google has its place in the world, but it's sure as hell not at the top. Then again, neither is it Microsoft's place either. It sure is lonely up here, though.
