    Do you think that the U.S. is the only country in the world that have laws against this sort of thing? The U.K. have their own laws about these sort of things, and the real question right now is; why shouldn't they be used on a U.K. citizen? U.S. flag waving aside, countries don't usually extradite their citizens easily. Specially not when the sentencing scale is WAY of balance.

    The version I heard was that a subcontractor didn't know that NASA uses metric, so the parachute deployed at x feet instead of x meters.

    It's perfectly possible for a country to follow it's own laws and still breaking other countries laws. At least according to those other countries. A good example for this would be China that for the longest time didn't acknowledged Copyright at all.

    ..that this is Mozilla trying to diversify their support base? Now that Google have their own browser, maybe Mozilla doesn't like that most of their users use their product exclusively with Google? I think Mozilla is a bit unsure about the future support from Google now that Google have their own browser, and would like at least some of their users to use Bing, so they might get some money from Bing in the future.

    I'm loving this. I hate that all OS manufacturers use base 2, but all storage manufacturers use base 10. And it's not like there is a debate, base 2 is obviously the correct one since the storage is binary.
