  1. you need information on Is Evolution Predictable? · · Score: 0

Miller-Urey only showed that the amion-acids could be produced by "accident". Of course, it proved this by going through a lot of hard work to make them.

What it dosen't accout for it the information. Once DNA would be formed out of the acids it has to code for orgenelles and cell walls and whatever else. Even the scientists that support Evolution are having a hard time coming up with an explination with where the information came from, not just the medium it is carried on.

Every other week the New York Times is retracting / appoligizing for something it printed that was wrong. I think this is just a reflection of the Internet losing it's monolopy on crazy people posting weird stuff that's not true.

SS Number? I give that to no one unless they are paying into the system for me - ie. my boss. It ticks off a lot of doctors offices when that box is blank but when I ask 'em why they need to know it they just stare at me.

I'd just as soon not have one at all, but I'm sure not pluging it into an ATM.

This is just Catching up with the past isn't it? From what I've read the Aol merger never went very well and most folks thought they should have been blocked by the government anyway.

We have found fossilized sacks of flour with a 1940's date on them. It does not take THAT long for much of this stuff to form

  10. faulty dates on 20 Million Year Old Spider Found · · Score: 0, Troll

I highly doubt that date. For one thing, does anybody believe that the blood really could have lasted that long no matter what it was preserved in? And not too long ago we had those millions of year old bones with blood in them.

From what I studied of the dating methods in College I put no trust in them.

This site has an in depth study of carbon dating. I know it's a biased site, but it does have good information.

Seven? Haven't we been complaining about the difference between Home and Pro in XP? Now they're going to divide it up even more? I thought this was a software company not a marketing enterprise. All this is, is an atempt to milk more money out of less work. I'm dualing Mandriva and XP (for the wife) and I think as Mandriva updates, Winders ain't going to. Sorry, Bill.
