So what are all those cute little pandas, and snakes, and groundhogs, and camels, and loons going to do for work now? Life always was hard for the animal models getting in at the ground floor, but now it's even bleaker.
Perhaps they can have an adopt an O'Reilly animal campaign.
There is nothing sacred about a simple 'Hello World' application.
I was told by my first C instructor that if we didn't do a Hello, World! application first, we would be thrown to the lowest depths of programming hell. I had no interest in taking such a risk at the time.
If you have a background in both C/C++, and in OOP. Otherwise, I'd suggest getting a little background in those first. I think it's slightly misleading to imply that this book is the best hand-holder in this regards.
For as long as Apple insists on the hardware + software model, they can expect to be taken to task for each and every hardware quality issue that pops up.
But how many issues will it take until they consider a different approach?
And what's up with Apple saying a firmware update will provide the fix? Is this a firmware issue?
Isn't this only useful if the cancer is already developed to the point where it is spilling cancer cells into your blood?
IANAD but afaik, first the cancer cell must release itself from its primary tumor, and make its way through the walls of the blood vessel. Even once in the blood, it's thought that of many thousands and thousands of cancer cells that make their way through the unlikely trip into the bloodstream, only one or two will probably form a metastasis.
How would this fit in with Apple's recent fascination to produce "green" notebooks? What is the environmental impact? Would disposing of them present any issues?
The Apple Store description for Intego VirusBarrier X5 says this:
Now that you've installed Windows on your Intel-based Mac, you're vulnerable to a whole new range of security threats: Viruses, spyware, adware, and hackers are all waiting to compromise your Windows setup. No matter if you're running Windows in Boot Camp, Parallels Desktop, or VMWare's Fusion, it requires Windows-specific protection. VirusBarrier Dual Protection is the answer. It provides security for both Mac OS X and Windows, ensuring that you'll have total protection for both operating systems.
If you follow the apple store link in TFA, it's interesting to note the description for the first product (Intego VirusBarrier X5) says this:

I've asked people the same question, and the overwhelming response was lack of GUI tools to work easily with it.
I'm personally indifferent which one I've got to work with.
The extent of this conspiracy is vaster than we think. They even have us mockers thinking that an aluminium foil hat is made of tin. Any expert will inform you that aluminium does not possess the protective qualities that authentic tin does.

It's reassuring to know that the internet can stop sociopathic tendency. *rolls eyes*
The system crashing is not a bug.
It is a feature.
Perhaps Hawaii, like the Netherlands, would care to wait until after 2011 and see how Israel's electric car initiative works out. It seems promising.

Nowhere in this summary does it say he is a Jew. Just pointing out the obvious. There is a difference between the terms 'Israeli' and 'Jew'
people are basically flushing those down the toilet by giving every device one (including their toilet).
We may see that in the not too distant future

I detect a conspiracy here. I know you are really just typing 911 in reverse.
Tin foil hats are quite the style these days.
