You can find more information on the Mozilla developer wiki. Here is a page on Firefox 1.5, for example. Some notable features include SVG support, JavaScript improvements, the canvas tag, faster back/foreward navigation, UI improvements, and an overhaul to the extension system (again).
Nah, I copied it from someone on another forum:-). Why would you change your sig, though? Keep it and help the Numbers spread. It's cool to know there are other Lost fans here, BTW.
... if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Does it really matter to anyone (not counting government officials that want to run everything themselves) who controls DNS? Also, I'm not sure I'd trust the UN to manage the Internet more than I trust the US.
I agree. Many people don't need an enterprise database. For, say, a blog, forum, or a simple access-restricted website, MySQL is more than good enough.
See the MySQL documentation for triggers, views, and stored procedures, respectively. To answer your question, if you don't know what they are, you probably don't need them.
Just a minor nitpick, but what Max actually said is that he was only "mostly dead". The exact quote is:
Miracle Max: Whoo-hoo-hoo, look who knows so much. It just so happens that your friend here is only mostly dead. There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive. With all dead, well, with all dead there's usually only one thing you can do.
Inigo Montoya: What's that?
Miracle Max: Go through his clothes and look for loose change.

PETA seems to support microchipping. See, for example, this page and also this one.
I don't think so; I cleared my cookies to check and didn't have to register or sign in. /me shrugs.
I didn't have to register to view it.
Except, with non-free software, the developers/company have some incentive (your money) to add features and fix bugs.
Find someone who is a coder and bribe them with money/pizza/Mountain Dew/etc?
The answer still wouldn't be Windows XP. (Remember Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista.)
The sad thing is that may be true soon. High gas prices suck.
Come on, it's all pun 'n Gaims.
Is there an echo in here?
