Is it possible to have 10 different shades of black? Surely given the fact that black is an absence of all colours you could only have 1 black and 9 different shades of grey as you would have to introduce at least some element of the other colours to change the state of the black therefore it is no longer black.

Take your chances with a free network that may stop you from makin a call at a crucial moment, ooorrrr,,,,,pay $20 a month for a connection that lets you make calls whenever you want. 1)How many people do you think would risk the free service and 2) How is people paying $20 for a connection any different from now?

So if I've been using the phone a lot recently I get prioritized down so that when I need to make another call I get a message saying "sorry you've talked to much today, give someone else a chance." ? Im sorry but this just wouldn't work. The reason I have a mobile phone is for the convinience of being able to make a call whenever I want to. I dont want to be stuck in a broken down car and have my mobile tell me Im not allowed to make a call because I've already used my 10 minutes that day. I apologise if Im being dumb and misunderstanding your idea, but I just dont see it taking off.

I've had two phones from Vodaphone and two from T-mobile, my girlfriend has had one from Vodaphone & 2 from O2. None of these phones was ever locked and we were free to put a SIM from another network into these phones at anytime. The only time I've seen locked phones on contracts is with Orange and Virgin. A good rule of thumb is that if the handset your buying/getting on contract has a network providers logo printed on it the its more than likely locked. This seems to be the case with all Pay As You Go phones and Orange contract phones.

Apple screw up and their solution is for people to give them MORE money? Also whats the point of buying a supersmall mp3 player then doubling its size by putting it in a padded case. I was so close to buying one of these as soon as they came out but decided to wait a while, I am now very very glad and I'll pick one up if/when they address these problems.

Forget buying a ton of paper and ink, for $3000 you could buy roughly 283 actual books. So if your going to pay $3000 for something that you just use to read books on I cant really see the point. Theres just something more satisfying about having the tactile feeling of a real book, and also what happens when you fancy a read in the bath? This would make sense of what I observed last night. A torrent was downloading but in the log of blocked IP's there where 15 blocked as known fake seeders / GOV agencies, however the download finished and was exactly what it said on the tin. So some of these bad seeders are sending out real files that dont get stuck at 97.7%. The only reasons I can think of for this is if they are logging IP addresses or if someone in there companies is being a hypocrite.

So it would actually be far simpler for the people who are seeding the bad torrents to just put in the comments box of real torrents "Not real, doesnt work" etc. Instead of spending the time seeding the fake copies themselves.
