Anyway, that's quite some speed it has. Major improvement. Now we just have to hope nothing goes wrong.

With all this, how can the RIAA still say they're losing money? I don't see how their argument works anymore.

Seriously, though, why would anyone want to index all the info in the world? That's kinda weird, in my opinion.

Good point. "Honey, someone keyed our USB again. Now I have to get it repainted. That's the third time this month!" :P

I think a better way (thinking in sense of being useful to the average user, and not necessarily cheapest) would be wireless access everywhere combined with a safe way to access one's personal files over the internet.

  10. Well, that's great on USB FlashDrives The New PC? · · Score: 4, Insightful

It would be nice to have that accessability in hotels, but I have one small problem with USB drives. They're too freaking small. I keep losing them.

  11. Good and bad on Nitpicking Wikipedia's Vulnerabilities · · Score: 1

I think that it can be useful if you want info that you might not find elsewhere. I actually used it to look up stuff about slashdot subculture and related stuff. Quite informative. I just don't use it for school-related things, since it can't be trusted in that way. Any of my teachers that know about it say we are not allowed to even look at the site for projects. Still good for reading stuff when bored, whether or not it's accurate.

  12. phew on Single-play DVDs a Hoax · · Score: 4, Insightful

I'm very glad that this was a hoax. It's a total waste to make disposable dvd's. Major environmental hazard, since no one would dispose correctly. Unless they also used the biodegradable (did I spell that right?) stuff I read about a while ago.

In Soviet Russia, hoax spread you!
