You mean Earth Final Conflict?!? PLEASE tell me this post is supposed to be funny. The shows that Majel has "helmed" are the worst bunch of stipe I've ever seen. I can't even stand to watch Andromeda anymore with how corny that got.
Ahhhh Good book! This also reminded me of another book (but I don't remember the name) where a scientist created a new life form and watched/assisted with it's evolution. In the end, the species ends up saving him by creating a big black shield around his lab and the story ends with noone knowing what's going to happen to the people inside the shield.
Unfortunatly, once this film IS made, people will go see it due to hype, hearing you talk for years about the original, or just to support sci-fi. It will make millions and the precedent will be set to mangle/destroy/dumb-down other anime because it CAN make money.
This seems to be the natural progression on paintball (i.e. better tech= more rounds fired) However I don't feel it HAS to be the way it's played. I played in the 90's and some teams were already started carrying around 1000 rounds per player per game. My team tried to follow suit, but I always held back and preferred to carry 200 rounds plus 200 more in my pack.
I found that with enough wit and skill, it didn't matter that my opponent carried 1000+ rounds and could shoot it all in 2mins... they still left the field with my paint on them...
In the end it's all about how YOU play. Don't let the posers with money spoil it for you.

You mean like Final Fantasy (the movie)
That movie flopped and the medium did not help it at all for being sci-fi.
It's hard to take that comment seriously when there's a big Windows ad banner right in the center of the article pages.
Ahhhhaaaaaaa!!!!
No One expects the Spanish Opposition!!!

Or come up with a way to draw the power slowly from the sky? The charge builds up somewhere doesn't it? I think Tesla had a theory on this...
