Use it as a plugin in your word processor?

    From the Zotero site:

The word processor plugins are distributed as Firefox extensions, which provide integration support to Zotero and install the necessary components into the word processors. After you have installed a plugin from this page, Firefox will prompt you to install later versions automatically the same way that it does for Zotero.

I agree that Zotero is awesome. I just wish it wasn't tied so closely to Firefox.

Note the ages mentioned there. While I won't question the poster's abilities, there should be no expectation that everyone should be at that level. What is important here, in my opinion, is to get her to read, not what she is reading. If games serve as a way to get he interested, all the better. However, don't quit doing the other things; read to her and ask her questions. Keep her engaged.

Having attended Stroustrup's seminar at SD West 2006, seeing his slides and what he has been doing, I would say that he probably has seen the code to the Mars Rovers, Google, and the Human Genome Project. He spends a lot of time looking at how real people use C++ to try and figure out how to make the language better, and how to teach/use the language better.

I found the following book to be very interesting as it describs many of the people involved in the King James Version of the Bible in detail.

_God's Secretaries : The Making of the King James Bible_

Unfortunately I haven't read the book the poster discusses so I cannot make a comparison.

What I would do in your case is probably feed the tool code snippets with known values. If you really want to stress operator precedence and such, I'd probably use examples from _The C Puzzle Book_ which have the advantage of having answers you can check. After that I'd probably pull examples from other C texts. It's not as pretty as running a validation suite, but it will probably tell you more.

Although the question topics are focused on the Internet as a tool for campaigns, I wonder if you have any opinions on using the Internet, or computer networks in general, as a tool to replace the standard polling place? If you think this is the wave of the future, what do you see as the pros and cons?
