milw0rm.com have released proof of concept code for a denial of service exploit which apparently affects all versions of the Mozilla Foundations popular Firefox browser from version 1.0.7 downward.
Remember, on Slashdot always read the article, it is generally only a coincidence if the summary has any bearing on the actual linked text.
. . . why does Creative still refuse to include an optical out on its sound cards?
Yes you can get the live drive, but on a media PC that's designed to be on show, it makes sense to have the digital outputs out the back, where they can be easily concealed.
. . . export restrictions are generally overcome by the all mighty dollar, and besides hasn't New Zealand merged with Hollywood now?
More interestingly, can anyone see digital actors quickly surpassing their organic cousins, no matter what Peter Jackson says?
And slightly more interestingly, when will New Zealand surpass California in flim making, it is the ideal location, with better light, more interesting geography, and (at the moment) far cheaper to work in. There are of course the problems with the remoteness of the location, but with the rapidly shrinking world cliché, this is surely no longer such a problem, especially with the work Mr. Jackson is putting in regarding the logistics.

. . . in that case the test would be fairly conclusive.
Sony Ericsson say that the P990 can support all major push email protocols, including Blackberry.
. . . so this can replace my soon to be defunct Blackberry?
Now will someone tell me why all interesting new gadgetery is so slow to be released in the US.
. . . will be the proof that quarks are merely fudge factors. And hopefully gravitons will be dealt with in this way as well.
. . . you accidently logged into Slashdot's 'for the blind' section.
. . . what happens when you lose a normal key?
Oh right, you can't get in.
. . . please stop spreading FUD.
Vista worms/virii were an example of a conceptual virus on a beta command shell for a beta OS.
The words potential, and beta strike me as interesting concepts.
. . . as opposed to their malware production utility I suppose?
. . . thanks for the advice.
Is that why you continue fucking your mother?
