If it was *sexual* violence against white *men* (as the people who signed the petition believed: "incentive is to commit sexual violence against women, then abuse or kill them to proceed or get 'health' points") then I challenge that it would indeed be a problem.
A lot of male gamers would likely be turned off playing a game where a character that looks like them is the subject of sexual violence.
Since the current national average gas price is $3.675, an increase of $2.515, it would seem only fair that instead of a gas tax increase, they should propose a tax credit of $2.331/gallon ($2.515, less the 1993 tax rate of $0.184).

On February 5, 2014, Slashdot announced through a javascript popup that they are starting to "move in to" the new Slashdot Beta design.
Slashdot Beta is a trend-following attempt to give Slashdot a fresh look, an approach that has led to less space for text and an abandonment of the traditional Slashdot look. Much worse than that, Slashdot Beta fundamentally breaks the classic Slashdot discussion and moderation system.
If you haven't seen Slashdot Beta already, open this [slashdot.org] in a new tab. After seeing that, click here [slashdot.org] to return to classic Slashdot.
We should boycott stories and only discuss the abomination that is Slashdot Beta until Dice abandons the project. We should boycott slashdot entirely during the week of Feb 10 to Feb 17 as part of the wider slashcott [slashdot.org]
Moderators - only spend mod points on comments that discuss Beta Commentors - only discuss Beta http://slashdot.org/recent [slashdot.org] - Vote up the Fuck Beta stories
Keep this up for a few days and we may finally get the PHBs attention.
>>No it won't. It will do nothing. The voter has to learn to resist propaganda, and think critically. Check the records, not the campaign speeches. Campaign 'reform' is a bullshit shell game, just like term limits. They will find another way to launder the money.

Ahh Sneakers! Now there is a blast from the past for me - remember how you could hide right at the right hand edge in that metor mode and only have to dodge about 2 of them?
...though it's safer to blow up the two small meteors than to try to dodge them, and you get points. Still, the rest time during meteor mode is the only reason I haven't developed carpal tunnel from playing the game. My copy of Twerps is really buggy; otherwise I'd have mastered that, too.
Then, at encounter in September 1979, we'd pick the tape, mount it on a teletype, and send the data out over the NASA deep space network, then anxiously wait to see if the instructions worked on Pioneer 11.
Wooooooh, how do I get access to the deep space network?!!!
The packets go through the NSA routers before it can reach China.

Generally, no.

Perhaps they will offer a super premium ultimate for workgroups edition that comes with this awesome feature unbundled.

Yeah, they should just use the name "Goo" for their programming language. Just switch all 1s with 0s (oops, I mean !s with os).
Aah, what a time. Back then IBM WebExplorer was a decent browser and MSIE was not even in planning.
But unfortunately Spyglass developed a browser called Mosaic, and hence Microsoft was able to license and create MSIE...
LOL Are you sure your browser wasn't pointed to symantec.crkr4u.nl?
