KDE has a tendency to fill every users system with crap that nobody uses. Come on, "kdedu", "kwordquiz" and "kwin"? I think that every user should have the right to install those packages they want. But KDE depends on its own packages: so it seems hard to be without packages like "kmouth".
Nobody that uses Vista would be smart enough to use an alternative operating system. This is just another reason why I will stay as far away from the Vista operating system as I can.
My parents gave me an iPod Nano for christmas and I loved it from the start. There was one catch, however. The software used to put music on the player is only available for OS X and Windows.
I don't own a single Mac - which leaves me with Windows: an operating system which I dislike. All respect to those that prefer the Windows operating systems - I'm not trying to start a flamewar or try to force people using the software which I prefer. However, Apple forced me to use the software that they prefer.
So I used Windows for a while and was suffering from an extra option in my bootloader just to be able to put music onto my iPod. I was forced to use NTFS for the partitions that were storing the music. I tried iPodLinux but it wasn't really for me. And then Rockbox came along - which is pretty much the end of my story.
And don't gtkpod me, it didn't even detect my iPod.
I've taken my precious time to study the reasons to why songs get unpopular. It has taken me very much effort and time to figure it out, but here it goes: They just simply suck. A very scientific moment.
Finally some more reasons to stay the away from Vista. Like it wasn't enough with the previous "features" stucked into that operating system: it now has Halo 2 aviable. mmmm, can't wait to avoid that.
Ah, come on now, sex sells. And, anyway, why would you sell a product that's not letting the customer use it for whatever they want? As soon as the product leaves the company, the company has nothing to do with what it's used for. Censorship is always worse than the content being censored. Just like with everything else, there is a way of getting around it -- there's a guide on how to convert pornographic material so it can still be put on iPods. I wish companies put their money on improving the features rather than to stop the customers from using it for whatever they want.
Soon monitors will be banned because they're used to view porn.
If you would've read the rules you wouldn't have experienced this sort of problem. Now, did you read the rules before using that nickname? I bet you that the rule you broke is available for reading somewhere. If there is anything unclear about them, you could always drop them an e-mail BEFORE making any serious friends ingame -- BEFORE starting to play the game seriously.
I can understand that you feel badly treated, but don't you think everyone that get's punished for rule-breaking feels just like you do? It's not Blizzard's job to make sure that you read and follow the rules -- they will just take actions when you don't follow them properly. Slashdot probably does the same.
The worst thing that you can do after being treated in such a "bad" way is to continue giving them the money. Ranting about it on Slashdot won't change their decision.
You shouldn't have posted this on the frontpage on such a big website. Imagine how many hate-letters they're going to receive from fanboys of this site just because of this. Just think about how much work you've caused just because you felt badly treated. I don't think you wanted to revenge, but you did by posting this here.
Yep, if I don't use either KDE or Gnome I'm totally against running Linux on workstations. You're so correct. (Note: Irony)
Speaking of idiots, I love it how you assume that I'm using Gnome as soon as I say that don't prefer using KDE.
No, I do not use Gnome.
kwin was one of the packages which I did not recognize. But if it's important, feel free to replace it with "kbattleship" in my post.

I just love dependencies!

Suddenly I feel bad for those 286's I *threw away* a few weeks ago. :\
It's easy! They go to museums considering they don't die "as often".
I ordered mine a week ago, still haven't gotten it. Bah.
"Let's not make it perfect, we can always patch it later!" 3

It's like the companies would want the customers to toy with their creations like this. Don't we all just remember what happened to the Furby Baby?
