If you click outside the window, the game loses focus and you stop. But if you are holding down the right mouse button, the mouse is locked to the window and can't leave (Pointer Locking, Mouse Capturing, whatever you want to call it.)
"Full Screen Windowed" is a mode I prefer. It allows me to move my mouse to another screen and do stuff without dropping out of the game. It's full screen on one monitor, but it's still in a window so you can have more control over your mouse. Most games (first/third person) will lock the mouse on right click (the button you use to rotate the camera) and when you release it, let go of the mouse so you can mouse to another monitor.
Full Screen is bad in most cases because some games don't handle switching contexts well and can crash by essentially alt-tabbing.
But when I log into Windows using my Google ID... how will Windows know to load those apps? Oh right, you can't use third party authentication. You need a Live ID to do that.
Nope, this Windows is the first release that presumes/pre-empts that you, the user, will do your computing across multiple devices and that you don't want to have to worry about your data & user experience being tied to any one device.
So I can save my office document and open it on my Android Phone or my Linux laptop?
Not to mention the benefits for developers having a single & consistent API set to target every form-factor from multi-CPU gaming monster to WinRT/ARM tablet, and that's before we mention WP8 being as it is the same kernel. That's a benefit for users too; pick up any modern MS powered device from Xbox to tablet to desktop PC and the user will be in a familiar UI.
You see, that's the thing, I don't own an XBox or a Windows Tablet... I already have a PS3 and an Android phone. I'm not going to go out and buy everything I own again in Microsoft flavor just to feel self important. In fact, I'd argue that everyone should avoid putting all their eggs of data in one companies basket... but you keep doing it. If Windows allowed me to log in with my Google ID and synced with my Google Drive and let me switch at any time (or even use both services for backup), it might be worth my time. So far, all I see out of Microsoft is more lock in and dependency on Microsoft tools.
I'm still waiting on the tablet table... or whatever you'd call it so I could pull up several sheets and drag characters around a board with real time line of sight and dynamically generated boards.
That's written on the outside of the box you'd purchase at the store I assume? I don't know many consumers that walk into a store and immediately pull up office.microsoft.com and look for the version that's installed.
According to the HDHomeRun site, they are cablecard boxes and says they need a digital cable service... is this a "suggested requirement" or am i missing something?
His username is the inverse of Yarbrough... which, upon cursory Internet searching could mean he's a UFC cage fighter, a fan of the Tour de France, or just someone that loves getting things backwards.
I could possibly see it being "not delivering a product as promised." Some places might also request that it be removed and they not be billed for the time it takes to add whatever dedication you do. Easter Eggs have always been a moral gray area. On one hand, you are billing your time and on the other you are "wasting" that billable time making something that has no productive value to the product. It would be even worse if the product was bug laden and the customer thought you could have spent more time testing and less time building in a secret message.
I'm curious about what will happen when the next programmer comes along and removes the dedication because he/she has no idea who the person is. Then again, I've never understood dedications.
Yeah, if I've learned anything about dedications and appropriate locations; a much better dedication is putting her name in script on the back window of your SUV.
You are arguing with a well known "ad troll"... which makes me curious, shouldn't the government be going after this shill for monopolizing the first post on Microsoft related articles?;)
Hell, I searched for Smartphone and I got a wiki article on smartphones, CNET review of smartphones, and an AT&T site that lists iPhone first. On the side bar "Shop by Brand", in this order, Blackberry, Samsung, Apple, HTC, Nokia. If they were "stuffing the ballot", wouldn't Nexus be at least front page?
"Although Microsoft's stipulations require also that x86/x64 systems provide an option to disable Secure Boot"
The only problem I have is the layman will not want to "make their computer insecure by disabling secure boot" which only serves to stigmatize alternative OSes as the insecure option while Windows is viewed as "more secure."
I don't do CF anymore, but Coldfusion has definitely taken strides to make life better. It's too bad they still charge for it when pretty much everything else is free.
That's probably why most places lay claim to your post content... so they can claim that the content is no longer owned by the party that wrote it. This way there's no true privacy as long as someone is able to cut/paste from the site that claims the content. Of course, there's the usual disclaimer that Facebook takes no responsibility for what the users post so eventually someone has to pay... and it's the party writing the original. Makes sense. They don't have to take privacy seriously and in case of a leak, they wash their hands of it.

Windowed just sucks. I'll give you that.

Would that be Word Perfect?
So would that be HDS? (Hamster Distribution System) I imagine you'd have to specifically pair your routers to get them to replicate.
... does this device utilize a computer?
It doesn't already have a Starbucks? I thought all BMW powered vehicles came with one.
Ugh, sorry, I should have checked out all the products. I see they have OTA boxes available.

What does your code have to do with releasing your dog to the public? ;)

Slashdot... Ford? Not with Microsoft Sync, buddy!
Also I just RTFA and I saw this:

Oh, so you're saying the other 20% are asking for it by dressing that way?

Haiku, ReactOS ... you know, mainstream.
