I get it. Get a Mac, get hot women around you no matter what you do in life?
Oh wait no. I need to make crap music with turntables and a mac, take photos all day, write dime a dozen poems, or be a math major? Sorry dude. Those people were cookie cutter too at my university, mac users or not.
I'll stick to my dime a dozen engineering work, I'm all set on the masochism of apple ownership and the enscription involved
Actually, a few companies used to advertise with fuel milage, such as this ad.
Yes, I do drive one of these cars, no flames over the fact its an old diesel that smokes more and such, I still have it for the 35 mpg in city and 43-48 mpg interstate, depending on the terrain.
Most people I would probably never realize these numbers when they drive one of these if they owned one of those suv's as it is underpowered and slower than almost anything I've driven. The key idea for me is just patience, I'll gladly take 5 minutes longer on a 2 hour drive to save a few bucks.
Why do they not advertise like this anymore? Idiots will use for false advertisement when their shiny new 50 mpg car doesn't get 50 mpg as they beat the crap out of it in the fast lane on the interstate trying to cruise 85 mph.
Go poking around D-Link's support site some more. The DI-624's firmware is available still, and actually rev A & B of it have a beta firmware, which mentions fixing some NTP server issue, granted they're from 12/2005.
Regretfully, the firmware I had for the 604 from my last update isn't handy to disect to see this issue.
I took apart the DWL-G700AP's firmware, which I own, and I didn't see that offending NTP server listed. I honestly think this might be only an issue in old firmware (henceforth why all the old firmwares might be vanishing!)
Silent cell phone cameras are great for taking upskirt pictures on crowded trains, and the internet exploded with upskirts soon after cell cameras became popular here.
I think this is why most camera phones that are being sold today have a sound everytime the shutter is clicked, be it a typical shutter sound, or a quack, etc.. In my i870 phone from Nextel, I have not found a way to completely mute the shutter sound, only make it soft.
Quite a few windows fans build their own boxes too. You should give it a try sometime, the end result is usually cheaper, and with higher quality components.
By the way, name Calling isn't needed. It's childish, and makes you look stupid compared the person you're argueing with. Dislike Linux? Make a solid statement and your opinion might be viewed in a serious manner.
Gee, anyone else think they might be a bit biased rating about a movie about themselves?
The higher the rating, the less people will be able to see, especially the younger crowd, that is those who have yet to form a complete opinion on Hollywood yet...
I am not 100% I follow your logic on this one, but I wasn't aiming to be a troll at all.
You're looking at what my worn out, end of semester crammed brain came up with when I tried to put "New phone, Transflash, and vacuum cleaner" in one;)
I'm all set on goatse.cx style grossing out of fellow/. 'ers.
Cheers:)
That was the link under the blurb. I don't think that is a photoshop...
Fear not the power of power tools (i.e. Dremel and drill press) and some 5 minute epoxy on making one.
I think rootkits from the Music Industry are going to probably become the touchiest subject so far when it comes to "bundled" malacious software. Granted, as you pointed out time will only tell on these products, but one must also recall why people will still purchase the product even if the name is slandered in their minds:Monopoly on access to the music they desire.
Sure, an average./ 'er will say "F'em , I'll just P2P my way to aural pleasure", but if you think about Joe Consumer, he/she will probably still purchase the legal CD as they are now be trained into avoiding downloading music at all costs. ClearChannel will still do its part too in pumping RIAA music and only RIAA music onto the airwaves ensuring the average person will be addicted to it like crack, keeping the sales going, even if the entire industry is tarnished.
How this turns out should be an amusing tale to tell the kids, either in "The day artists went indie/label free" or "The day we lost our freedoms and live in a censored, scrutinized world"
(food for thought)
Actually, the Federal Gvt. has long declared that copyright infringement was in fact theft in their eyes. http://www.cybercrime.gov/netsum.htm says it all.

Could someone explain to me why people keep saying BSD is dead? I know it's offtopic, no need to mod me that.

My apologies folks. I posted pre-morning coffee.

4. idisk ..... How on earth should can you avoid not misplacing this really tiny (and very weird) product?
Obviously whoever wrote this forgot about TransFlash cards in cell phones such as my i870. Try keeping a spare one of those out of the vacuum cleaner.

Ditto.
I have an 80GB Neuros for a reason : Discographies on the go.
Pick a band, aim the car and drive off.
640 songs? My archaic laptop has more than that on it, and I use it once a month.

Can't forget Intel, HP (Compaq), and former Digital corporation all have a stay in Mass also.
Grab it from CVS for now, aMSN is good eats. http://amsn.sourceforge.net/
Note: You will need to compile something to make it work from CVS, even after you have the deps. (Which should be expected from CVS)
