Like I said, if you don't like the bundle, don't get it. Spend your entertainment dollar elsewhere. It's that simple. That's one of the prices you pay for being an early adoptor. This happened with previous consoles. Why's it any different now?
No, that person wasted his own time by waiting in line for 12+ hours and falling for the hype. Do you see the people who lined up for days to watch the new Star Wars movies suing George Lucas because of the crappy prequals? Of course not.
Not to be crass, but no one is forcing you to buy anything. You don't like the bundle, don't get it. Personally, I'm waiting until at least Halo 3 and possibly longer.
Like the other guy said, the codecs are binary and proprietary, although mplayer and xine can play some wmv files right off the bat. Additionally, good luck getting the binary codecs to work under a 64-bit unix-like os.
Anyone can sue anyone else no matter how stupid it is, and there won't be any repurcussions except more money for the lawyers. What we really need is some system in place where the loser pays to further discourage stupid lawsuits.
I think there's some sci-fi book where the loser and his lawyer dies. That might work too, but I don't think most people would go for that.
Maybe it's just me, but what's so great about using this as car paint? Certainly the article could have expanded on other uses. On the other hand, it might pretty good for my low-rider
$4.99 for a $150 Ipod? And why didn't the cashier notice? Of course, he tries to do it again, but the article doesn't say if it's the same Target. If it is, what a moron. Go to a different store (if you're so ethically declined).
NetBSD for Dreamcast is still around. Someone was able to get 3.0 BETA to boot. The only problem is that the ethernet adaptor (aka "broad-band adaptor") costs more than the game machine itself and can only be easily found on ebay.
That's where the affected person's karyotype is XXY. So would such a person be the best game designer ever? Not only would he have and extra X chromosome, he's also a man!
They could, but remember, we live in a society where verbal obfuscation is the name of the game. Words and phrases no longer give the connotation that they should anymore. Everyone is now some sort of "engineer" or "manager." It's not a "bug," it's a "feature." Uttering anything preceded by the phrase "synergistic paradigm shift" gets you promoted to a "manager."
BTW, during that week, Dell was selling a similarly speced laptop for $399.

You could always get a Linksys WRT54G. That thing has more computing power and memory than my 486 DX2/66.

You know, I'm not sure how much of an impact this will have. There are other sparc manufacturers, but no one really seems to take notice.
How many of you PSP owners actually use your PSP to access the internet? I know there's a webbrowser, but I would imagine it to be cumbersome to use.

It had a run of 4 seasons. Doesn't seem that quick. A lot more shows get canned earlier than that.
They use or have used mica-paint that changes color depending on the angle of observation.
Or how about a beow... never mind.

Depends on the law and what you mean by "wrong."
Nice slippery slope there... *clunk*
Well, it's probably because he doesn't read Slashdot

I would have expected it to be more. But the, what do I know what these things cost? Anyone know how much the previous generation factories cost?
Because you're not important enough... yet

As a poor person, I would have to say that the systems you linked to still cost significantly more than the WRT 54G.
I would argue otherwise. Cadillac Escalade, Courvasier, and a host of other high-end luxury items are name-dropped left and right in hip hop/rap.

That's a good and talented ass you got there... *quietly runs away*
