Let me throw this out there. Science Fiction:
A. The effect of future technology on human life. (Source: Gazfather)
So let me also throw this in the fire. Star Wars hardly qualifies as science fiction. I don't mean to use the term "space opera" but it seems popular here, though there is no singing involved. Really the best term to use here is "Fantasy". Sure, it shares some science fiction themes such as government corruption and the effect of interstellar transportation, but if you break it down it shares little in common with actual science fiction. Example, Koushun Takami's Battle Royale was a science fiction novel (which spawned a movie and others) but carried almost no overly futuristic technology like Star Wars, though the Science Fiction theme was defenetly there and showing the ever widdening gap between children and their parents.
To say that Star Wars is Science Fiction is very wrong. Even Lucas himself said something like this. (I think)
In paticular, the Wii and the Xbox 360. As we all know sales of these two consoles have been above the PS3 in terms of numbers. As a gamer yourself (I hope) have you played either of these consoles and if so, what do you think about them? Anything they're doing right that Sony should adopt? Thoughts on where they're going in relation to your own console?
RMT is illegal in XI anyway. But the issue here I think is the fact that people are selling stuff they don't own. Most Terms of Service explicitly state that the owner of your character is the company, not you. Going with the policy of eBay, you technicaly don't have the rights to list the character or money because the company doesn't allow you to.
The reason why this story probably hit was the fact that the two rival news companies in Syracuse (I live there) are Channel 9 (An ABC station) and Channel 10 (who is owned by Time Warrner). This, I assume, is a weird way to discredit 10 and get more viewers and sponsors; while I belive this is a very poor way to do it.
I dunno. Perhaps this rivaly goes a bit on the weird side.
I'm going to have to dissagree with the PSP. The PSP wasn't really innovative as much as adaptave. It, more or less, is like a Game Boy and a Media Player combined.
Was this story really submitted by Gates himself?
The Govenator: Rise of Taxes.

Condemn the company? No. I'm just stating that they seem to be having a rough time and a lot of bad PR.
Or is Sony really going downhill between the laptop batteries, the PS3 and now this?
