(no pun intended) its half their fault too, theyre the ones putting up that they are 18, and that they want to meet up with 30 year old guys, what the fuck to they expect to happen?!?! Seriously, screw regulation of the internet, ehhhhh..... the internet is going to become the new tv and radio (you cant swear, you cant go where you want, and you have to watch a commercial before you can do anything).

Yknow....all this stuff about porn and videogames "Damaging" Children doesnt seem to make much sense to me, it just seems like the government is legislating morality, i mean weve had porn, videogames, internet, violence for years, and obviously our society isnt falling apart? Why all the ruckus now? If you ask me, people should explain to their kids what the world is really like, so their kid doesnt fall apart when they realize the world isnt a "super happy smile hello" world. Thats just my take on it, ill probably have somebody telling me that im wacko or something...
Seriously, I dont mean to sound retarded or anything....but jack thompson needs to DIE.... He just threatens to sue anything that doesnt go with his view. Its lucky for us not that many people take him seriously....God he just needs to die...
I agree with alot of the posters here, that it is a small group that is playing the system, the real truth about most americans is that they dont care what happens as long as they have 3 meals a day, and plenty of iPods to go around. Honestly, im atheist but that doesnt mean that I can PROVE that im right, but then again neither can religious people, its all written down in a book that was written by man. Its kind of like saying "I jumped 10 feet high last night" and somebody says "no you didnt" and so you say "you cant prove it" which is totally true, but if one uses their mind logically, they can see whats real and whats not most of the time, the problem with people in all honesty is that were all taught to be followers, and robots, and good boys and girls. Free thinkers are discouraged in many ways ie: "you're wierd", or "Do what your told". Also people are ingrained with religion from birth. So its only natural to assume that if you drill an "ideal" into a child that they are probably going to believe it. I think that if people were taught to use their mind logically and be true, free thinkers, that this world would be a better place, and none of this "Behind the scenes" shit with politics would be allowed to happen. I ramble, but, i hope i made some kind of point
I think that by making a subscription service thing would encourage MORE piracy, because people will think "I didnt used to have to pay again and again for windows, oh and i found this cracked version that doesnt make me go through all this bullshit, so ill just download that for free"
