I don't like notebooks, they have a weight of +- 2.5 to 3 KG. I bought a Netbook, just over 1 KG, so I can easy surf and mail without taking 2 KG to much with me!
Its for me, and many others, a perfect compromise. Small screen, but fast enough to mail and surf.
My smart home page is google.com , because is it is the quickest loading and half of the time when I start Internet browsing I want to search for something, and for the rest of the sites I visit I use live bookmarks from the Firefox bookmark bar, and I use the addon for firefox LiveClick to make my live easy, to use live bookmarks.

Spore should run fine on a EEE, I installed Spore on a MSI wind, and the game just runs fine.
