    were you able to get dvd playback in suse 10? I added an additional mirror, installed win32 codecs, couldn't find libdvdcss, found libdvdnav though do I need to uninstall the default Xine package? sorry for the off-topic question, maybe this isn't the place to ask

    actually, you've just given me an incerdible idea for a new product, a shaver/toothbrush/comb all in one. Just be careful you don't cut your tongue, or get toothpaste in your hair. I totally agree about control of things like d/u speeds. I think there should be a simple tool in firefox, for my simple tv show downloads, of 100 MB apps. When it comes to ISOs and other important downloads (even albums, where I may just want one song right away - 'high priority'), I'd still want the detailed control of Azureus or BitLord

    I'm 99% sure Microsoft was well aware of the instabilities before the product launch. It actually works to their benefit, as they can now inform gamers that they need to connect to Live to get the software patches

    Honestly, I think the mass adoption of Linux just won't happen until users can be offered as much eye-candy as XP
