well, as I see things the uber Fanboy i am, I think this system has some amazing potential. I have no doubt Sony and Microsoft will soon have a controller just like it, but the point is that Nintendo had it first. They started the IDEA of an extremely functional controller. It's progressed from a pad with buttons to a spacialy aware peice of hardware. I myself and really hoping that Nintendo does fantastic with this system. I really think that having the ENTIRE Nintendo catalog at gamers' disposal is what will be the desisive factor for most people. Who didn't spend weeks at a time playing SNES games. Granted the Virtual Boy didn't do great, but i loved it. It was an amazingly fun system. The Revolution's ability to do things no other system can right now, and having Nintendo's entire game base is sure to make the Revolution king. Even if i'm the only poor fool to own, I'll love every minute of it.
Online gamming is almost infinately more fun and intense than fighting against those ever tiresome bots. There is never such a great satisfaction as capping the shit out ten guys with a shotgun. Counter-strike, Day of Defeat, Battlefield, WoW.. They all have interaction. You cannot go online with theese games and not have at least some basic form of interaction. Granted it may not be a large driving force on WHY we play, but it is certainly an important part. Everyone knows that without team communication your squad is gunna die. Sometimes i'll talk to folks i've been playing with for years, or clan/guild mates.. but Social interaction is not WHY I play. It does seem to be a growing trend for kids/teens to use IM/VoiceChat to hang out and shoot the shit, bur for most of us it's the thrill of strugle between players.
You telling me you've never changed the rules? you've never cheated, never abused the grey line? Integrety is in the eye of the beholder my freind. Morality has no effect on the internet, if it did, half of e-commerce wouldn't function. In the long run, what does it really matter what he writes about himself, or what he changes about himself? The fact that he changed information may be contrary to their "Guidelines", but really how bonding are guidelines? Acording to Cpt. Balbosa guidelines don't really mean anything, and he's right.
What this all boils down to:
If you think Wikipedia is enugh of a source for reliable information to be worried about integrity, you have issues.
I do agree that the bill needs a little more definition. The entire bill had no clear definition as to what "ultra-violent" means.. would doom be acceptable unless on "ultra Violence" setting? Would Link be banned for chopping up some funky octopi.. would Mario be banned for stomping on an endangered species of koopa? What exactly they mean by "ultra-violent" could be changed from day to day unless they define it a little more. As it stands they could ban anything they wanted because it's "too graphic".
Well, at least we're really getting steam to go away from microsoft.. cause i don't know about you guys, but i see microsoft's eyes getting greener and greener as days go by. Every product they are comming out with finds new and more agrivating ways to need money for updates and support. Eventually we'll probably see microsoft putting adware into the OS source code. I really hope we get some better alternatives to microsoft products, and this could be a major step headed towards a less dominating microsoft eviroment.
Well, it seems to me that sony has a deathwish.. i don't know how they expected to get away with this kind of malicious spyware. How can they honestly think people won't find out. Do they really think they are just that much smarter than the consumer market that they can "hide" things like this DRM rootkit? I really hope CA sticks it to sony and breaks it off in their metaphorical booty without lube. Theese kind of consumer privacy invasion should be dealt with severly. NO ONE has the right to damage personal equipment because their loosing sales. The reason their loosing sales is from pulling off stupid stunts that only they know thier reasons for. I will NEVER buy a sony product again, unless their CEO of the whole company comes to my front door, and apologises for the kinda crap he let go on in his company. If Sony comes out on top of this entire ordeal i'll be so disgusted i'll probably destroy any existing sony products i own. (and i havn't bought sony for a good 3 years.)
yeah, I get lots of techno and EDM from Allofmp3.com cheapest legal downloads i've seen so far.. in MP3 format too. who needs to buy CD's.. i didn't worry about all this sony stuff, cause the only cd's i buy are imported from cheap independant lables in the UK.. cause american techo is teh suck!
Well, lets face it, sometimes the only way to get something done is shove that pitchfork square into the hind end of the monster. Torches are optional..
Well, i'm a n00b here at/. as far as posting goes, but here goes:
Isn't keeping an eye on the big bussiness a good thing? The easier it is for people to spread the word on bussinesses and their tactics, i imagine the more "power" people would have on the consumer market. Granted this softwere could be used as posted above to create negative responses to products, but at the same time we could more easily watch blogs about company actions and polocies. I know I for one am tired of $3/gal gas costs just cause nobody bothers to put heat on the oil companies. The more information people have at thier disposal about the companies that shaft us everyday, the more we'll hear people raise chaos about issues that need attention. Let the n00b flamming begin.
Of coarse the pr0n indunstries will be all over this, now you can feel hot and sticky too.. not like you weren't anyway watching pr0n...i suppose it would make "outdoors" ventures more realistic... but lets face it, you don't NEED any senses but vision and feel for pr0n.

wellll, looking at the picture i think he's just envious that we gamers get laid more than him.
Don't let him take credit, it was the tenticle monter's idea to build the box.
