Is that there is no originality. All but a few of the games they make are either badly made and rushed licensed titles (Goldeneye Rogue Agent, Harry Potter etc.), or a copy of a copy of a copy (Fifa, NFL etc.)
This controversy over videogame violence is a phase. Before videogames, movies, rock music and comics were blamed for 'corrupting children'. In America, at one point comics couldn't use the word 'flick' in case the 'l' and the 'i' ran together and Spiderman screamed, 'Look out, he's got a fuck knife!' Jack Thompson is simply the new Mary Whithouse.
That none of this anti-violent game ligislation goes through. Violent games have actually helped me become a non-violent person, as I take all of my anger out on virtual people rather than real ones. They have also really helped my reflexes and my hand-eye coordination skills. Also, all of this about violent games is a phase. Before violent games, violent films were condemned for supposedly making people violent. If this legislation goes through it will be repealed after a few years as the politicians will realise that it is pointless.
The PS3 won't sell very well. Nintendo and Microsoft have got their consoles selling there, and people already own either a 360 or a Wii. Also, the ridiculous price of the PS3 with deter people from buying it.
I also hate boss battles in first person shooters. Having to waste clips after clips on one enemy is monotonous and boring. Halo 1 countered this problem really well. Instead of having a boss, like Halo 2 did, that attacked in predicatble patterns and could only be hurt during a certain time window, it had a few, powerful enemies, who could be hurt at any time and weren't ridiculously resistent to damage or predictable. Also, an epic drive through a ship is a much more interesting final battle that a monotonous fight against a giant ape.

Just give it an extra 256MB of RAM and use a virtual console-like service and let us download N64 games. Perfect Dark over Wi-Fi!
