    actually... if they can achieve combustion at mach 2 with out slowing down the air(as is done in ramjet tech) then this is a step forward. achieving scramjet combustion at easily reachable speeds such as mach 2 means that there is less reliance on older engines to get a scramjet going at which point the scramjet takes off and goes to higher and higher speeds.

    A financial consolidation services company called my house and told my wife that I had spoken to them about consolidation of my student loans. That was a bald face lie and I was not around to deal with it so my wife told them that she would just like the package of crap sent to the house... du-da-da.... welcome new business relationship and calls every day.

    Umm... actually, Darwinian evolution is dead.. bio-chemical evolution is the theory that is now considered most sound.

    It deals with protein foldings and how evolution occurs with the expression of many mis-folded proteins after an environmental stressor causes the cells of the animal to remove the chaperone proteins... thus, the animals who have mis-folded proteins that create advantageous changes to their physiology are the ones that survive and the ones that breed and pass on their new DNA that describes how to fold the proteins that made them able to survive.

    1) I a one hour time change really does not hurt the show
    2) SG as a franchise is well known enough that they really do not need to advertise on USA or other stations as much.
    3) Eureka is a brand new show that they want to promote.. .of course they will advertise it a lot more.

    umm... SG-1 and SGA are on at the same time on the same night of the week as they have been. And advertising? I guess you missed the cool ads that had the characters " saving the day" for ordinary people like getting the snack machine to drop the snack and stuff.

    A post apocalyptic Star Trek is a better idea... Andramida was suppose to be part of the ST universe and take place after the fall of the federation at the hands of the dominion.. this was all part of Gene's grand plan. Paramount wimped out on it and with out Gene there to fight for it there was no fight.

    Distopoian futures are always way more fun to watch.... cripes paramount.. sell the franchise to sci-fi and let the experts take control of it!!

    And your conclusion that ESC are less promising than ASC is what? ASC have not given a rabbit the ability to walk again, have not stopped Parkinson's like ailments in rats, do not have the ability to generate any tissue and thus grow new organs.

    actually leaches and maggots are great for medicine.. leaches are applied to keep gangrene from forming by keeping blood flowing and maggots accelerate the healing of wounds by eating the dead tissue.
