Of course people are that stupid. Just look at any of the cary over titles from the XBox to the 360. People are paying for the same games with a nicer look, what makes you think they wouldn't do the same for TV?
It has long been said that: Imitation is the highest form of flattery.
In the past copying products in a different form was alowd. You couldn't patten chicken noodle soup, but you could pattent a specific formula. This form of patenting ideas is going to strangle us as a civilization, and lead to a few companies that control everything.
Just wait until someone patents a pure idea, and if anyone gets caught thinking about it you have to pay them.
That is not entirely true. The sun and the moon both have an affect on the tides. The sun i think is about 1/4 as strong though. When they are both aligned the tides can be particularly high.
Does anyone know if they took out the software lag that they inserted into the newer versions? I've had an AiW for a few years now and it used to work perfectly, but now you cannot play a game using it because there is.5-1s lag between what happens and what is displayed.
Because people kill them when they come too close. So it is in their best interests to not look for food further south. Natural selection hard at work.
When it is so easy to create an account on wikipedia, how does this really affect anything? Banning anonymous article creation isn't suddenly going to make all articles interlinked, nor will it stop people from making pointless articles.
Is there a function in/. to block articles submitted by certain editors? *cough* scuttlemonkey *cough*. I don't think I can take another microsoft advert in my life, let alone two in a row, but if I see another today I'm going to shoot myself.
I'm failing to see what the problem is with this, aside from him trying to cover it up. If the assistants wanted to donate their eggs why can't they? Is it wrong for scientists to contribute more than normal to their research, which they probably have a large interest in. If a scientist works more than 40 hours a week on something I don't see people getting up in arms about it. Science has always been personal. Why is this such a big deal?
Indeed, I was hinting at a new high of laziness that could be achieved. No longer would you have to move your fingers to use the computer. It would be possible to actually vegitate.
One word: Appropriation
Look it up, and explain what this problem is.

Every lawmaker needs a monkey standing behind him with a clue-by-4 (TM) to take action whenever said lawmaker picks up a pen.

So now we have fearless, regenerating, and immortal mice with cancer! When will the madness end?

I'm going to be first in line for the new computer interface brain implants. Hopefully they don't run windows.
From TFA, they are only scanning works that are out of copyright and in public domain, so this is not the same as what google is doing.
