not really, india tech support sucks, have you ever tried 'customer service' with intuit? i usually try and avoid companies that outsource to india, otherwise it seems i just get cookie cutter replies read back to me before they say reinstall your operating system. i telemcommute working for software as a service vendor. one of our competitors outsources their helpdesk to india, and we regularly get their customers because of the complaints.
hey, not everyone gets database optimization right the first time! and some database programmers work better visually, than tactically! then again, it could be just that his boss asked, "is it really searching for anything? why don't i see anything?"
i left a full list of admin passwords for all network devices, they just chose not to change alot of them, or didn't know how to change them. again, im not sure why this is on my shoulders, and not on the incompetent IT oursourcers. what have they done that is so perfect?
i am a professional, and i understood that they thought i was overpaid (especially since after i was there for 2 years, there were hardly any network issues). i don't wish them harm, but i would like to at least hire a competent IT outsourcing company to replace me, so I know my 2 years of work ended up in good hands...:)
Yes, in the article it is a bit confusing, I think it was referring to the Tab, and they don't mention the microUSB. I hope you are right about the Galaxy S II being microUSB, otherwise I'm not getting it for sure, I hate proprietary power...:)
don't piss off the japanese!
no innovation for USA, everything is blanket copyrighted here, if we tried something like this, we would be sued into oblivion.
anything we put into new technology just ends up in the patent portfolio's pocket with their blanket 'innovations'
yes, if there are enough of these complaints, then UPS may start to take notice.
oh man, that would not be good, drunken shenanigans would not be the same.....
yes, what we need more to improve american innovation is it kill it from the get go. who needs bin laden to kill america when we got IP?
nope, seems i was wrong:

PCI Compliance only requires that you are showing progress towards security goals, not that you have all the items implemented.

im not sure about the scripting ability of pine's email filtering system, but i've done some crazy stuff in mutt!

most computers are required by law to have this password on their computer, the tough part is guessing the username!
heck yah, keeps the end users away from the sysadmin computers... :P
Holy Books are a matter of interpretation. They could be interpreted as sex manuals, but people interpret the text differently.
my early linux days are full of required kernel builds and installing using make install, etc.
Or the opposite may happen, where cellphones, etc. will be made illegal to jailbreak following this ps3 ruling.....
i did disable my logon, it was the generic network admin logins that they did not change, even though i listed them and suggested they change them.

but is it my responsibility to suggest they change the password? especially since a 'professional' it outsourcing company took it over?
most likely not, knowing how the government works, they will probably STILL get the lowest bid.... :)
more hostile so far?

Well, it was the government who hired them, the government never hires the most competent help, usually the lowest bidder, you know how that goes.

he was quoting from the article, which states it will be using a proprietary charging cable, and no USB (im guessing that includes micro-USB)
