    And look ahead: not may years ahead, America may have multiple launchers, some man-rated, some not, to give a broad spectrum capability at much lower cost. Sometimes, backtracking is the wisest thing to do.

    As long as our Congress and the worthless fucking presidents we've elected over the past 20+ years are in control of NASA's budget we're not going to see anything worth-while out of them.

    How pathetically sad is it that people will ruin their lives (or corporations will ruin the lives of others) over a gaming platform? Yes, yes - you should be able to do what you want with it - I agree with that tired old argument, but it's just not worth ruining anyone's lives over. Go outside, play with your dog, play with your kids, pick up chicks...oh wait, slashdot crowd. My point being - it's JUST a gaming console, it's just not worth it.

    Apparently he guesses the answer to a question related to password recovery in order to break into the accounts of famous people

    If thats all it takes then the system is broken, not the people abusing it.

    The key is that he broke in, not that he guessed Barry's password. He should be arrested regardless of who's account he broke into.

    Because everyone on /. is a bunch of open source zealots that would rather bash Windows and its users instead of provide any actual feedback. These are the people representing Linux and FOSS and they wonder why Linux hasn't been widely adopted by the masses...gee, I wonder why. Unfortunately I can't answer your first question due to lack of experience, but I thought your second question at least deserved an actual answer.
