Because it wouldn't make it sell? Smartphones have become a commodities market and I would find it hard to believe a FOSS phone would drive enough sales from that fact alone.
WRONG.

Obama's deal only increased the time it took to get a certain type of visa. It didn't ban them outright as this is doing.
So maybe the problem isn't so much the total quantity, but that they will be competing in a very saturated market that is hard to stand out from when you have the likes of the iPad, or many cheaper options for those that don't want to spend much on a toy.
But I can't help to wonder if they are just a bit late to the tablet fad, haven't new tablet purchases slowed to a crawl because everyone already has one? I'm not saying they won't be able to sell it or anything, I'm just thinking it might lack that X-factor that rocketed the Wii to such success.
Before taking it down it would have only gotten a handful of views, and I probably would have never seen it.
Now even I wanna see this video! Anyone got a link to somewhere they haven't taken down yet?
The term "Mod" is abused here, when I think of a mod I think of something that is a positive effect on a game. Someone who is doing something to cheat in an online game is referred to as a hacker or cheater, not a modder.
Maybe there's something lost in the message, because the idea should be to make programming an attractive option for more people, because perhaps the stigma has been for some time now that only computer nerds (like me) are interested in that that kind of stuff. Granted they also need to realize there's a long path of learning to becoming an effective programmer, but you do have to start somewhere.
Exactly what I was going to suggest! I can't stand those stupid blocks in the default start menu.
The only thing I didn't like about Classic Shell was their custom File Explorer, but fortunately you can choose not to use it:)
I really like using linux for day to day things, or would like to more, if the things (read: games) I want to play were supported better on it. Maybe with Steam taking an interest in it we'll see that shift in the years to come, but for now I dual boot it with Windows.
Its really just bad that they insist on not moving to micro USB like basically all other phones manufacturers have. Requiring people to buy new sets of chargers, cables, accessories, docks for a new product just shouldn't be necessary with what is already available.
I'm sure Nintendo reps scan the internet all day for comments just like yours to motivate them to make you happy.

I think they not saying it's useless, just that it only covers some small portion, like 15% perhaps. There's just a lot of things it doesn't cover.

Man, them circles are HUGE. And that line-thin waist, GOT DAM!
It seems to me the phone OS should require user input to initiate a call or send a text, even from an app, as the way to secure this issue.
Spaceballs did it
Well my "friend" doesn't suck thumbs or bite nails, so that would be the only other reason for no allergies for me. I mean my friend!
I've never used the headphone on either of my Kindles. I think most people only use them to read, so it makes sense.
They were just saving you from yourself

All Super PACs are terrible and need to be outlawed, they are just ridiculous.

Let's not forget that the Bible was made up too. Its funny these people don't even see the irony of this whole debacle.
