So I thought I recalled that OCZ went bust and i was right because this isn't the same OCZ, it's OCZ Storage Solutions not OCZ Technology Group. Basically, Toshiba bought up the remnants of the company and took the name and logo and founded OCZ Storage Solutions on January 21, 2014. So of course they are using Toshiba's this and that because they are Toshiba.

  2. Contrary to popular belief, congress critters need our votes to stay in office. Now, if you all keep reelecting them, all I can ask is WFT is wrong with you? If you want to change the rules, you have to elect people that will change them. Simple enough?

that's just it though. there is a problem with people and the election system in general.

  3. the solution to this is to completely decentralize our power, virtually destroying "the grid" by putting solar+battery at every home. it wont work for absolutely everyone but it will work for the vast majority of people.

the solution to this is to completely decentralize our power, virtually destroying "the grid" by putting solar+battery at every home. it wont work for absolutely everyone but it will work for the vast majority of people. it comes with nice side effects too: it will cause people to buy more efficient electronics, lower the price of solar panels, devastate the coal/gas industry which in turn will cause a massive reduction in CO2 emissions and result in fewer mountain tops being blown up.

so you get security, energy independence, massive pollution reduction and preserving the environment. what's not to like? oh yeah, it doesn't pay congress critters to stay in office, so it wont happen. #BanCongress ;-P

that's interesting but far from bullet-proof. the modem chip they are using, yep, made and programmed by gemalto. basically, it's security is only a smidgen better than every other cellphone on the market.

Baseband processors (aka modems) have been the greatest technical weakness in cellphones since the dawn of SIM cards. They operate independently of the primary CPU and still crash when fuzzed and yet still have DMA lines to your RAM. Perhaps the bigger problem is how absurdly complex the ever growing number of protocol standards there are for baseband processors.

the hyperlink has not changed. it's not any more or less powerful than it previously was. the only thing that has changed is where (some) people choose to spend their time.

side note: if you want to keep the web decentralized, you need to build a meta-website that is built on a standard information format but easily hosted by anyone that wants to host one or many users.
