    I am not Canadian but it seems to me like you are having the same problem that the US is having with elections. You only have two major parties. As long as we limit ourselves to two parties and flop back and forth between them because the party we elected last term did something we didnt like, the system is never going to change. I think the only way to see real reform is to throw both parties out and find a third option. I am not sure about elections in Canada but I know it is possible for independants to run for office. I think it is high time we really taught both partys a lesson and evicted them.

    This statement bothers me. Compairing DRM to a door is foolish. compairing DRM to a door lock, maybe. I bother having a door because it keeps the wind, rain, and other elements outside. I dont keep it locked because people who want to steal things will easily defeat a lock.

    This is why I mentioned a Television Commercial and also local news consumer reports. Getting air time on a few local news channels would start a word of mouth campaign through the general public.

    I say you make a TV commercial. Put it up on YouTube, google video, and any other available spot. Put links on some MySpace pages. You can probably get enough attention, atleast in the US, to get a few news channel consumer reports specials.

    The assertion is that they are in violation of the SPIRIT of the GPL not in violation of the letter of the license. He clearly states that though Novell is not in volation of the GPLs terms the agreement Novell is ignoring the intent of the GPL.

    This is not a question of the artists, This is about the British Phonographic Association keeping rights to songs. The article states that they already keep the copyrights till thier death +50 years. The Recording Association wants to extend that another 45 years so They, the Association, can make money off of it, NOT THE ARTISTS.
