  1. Where's the common sense? on An Ignition Interlock In Every Car? · · Score: 1
Perhaps tougher penalties and larger fines for people who actually drive drunk would be a better idea.

My brother-in-law is a chronic drunk driver. They slap him on the wrists and tell him "Don't do it again, okay?"

The police do not enforce his 'no driving' order, as he has a job driving large industrial equipment that he got after his conviction.

The Government's solutions are stupid. You drink and drive, you lose your licence for life so you don't have a chance to hit a busload of kids in the future.

    How hard is this concept?

What does that have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense!

Look at me, I'm a lawyer defending a major record company, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca. Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense. None of this makes sense.

And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberating and conjugating the Emancipation Proclamation... does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed
jury, it does not make sense.

    None of this makes sense.

If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests.

I'm saddened to hear that they filed for the French version of Chapter 11, which I understand means certain death for them.

However, if they're smart, they'll move back to their US offices and continue from there. If they die off completely, it'll be a smack in the face to Linux, even though the problems were caused by bad management.

I'm aprehensive to use a new distro, Mandrake has been my life-blood for many years.

Luckily, Debian, Suse, and Gentoo exist for me to evaluate as a Mandrake replacement. (I won't go the Red Hat route, they've become the Microsoft of the Linux world-- It's their way or the highway.)
