    While I don't know too much about film, but music has already caught up. There's plenty of website where people distribute their music, freely. For instance, check http://www.sectionz.com/ .

    It's so cheap these days to make music, no need for expensive equipment.

    I do not expect ISPs will have to log all TCP/IP traffic (ala tcpdump). They'd need massive new firewall logging servers.

    They have to save all metadata. So, all urls, time stamps, IPs, basically everything except the content of the packets. And yes, they'll need 'massive new firewall logging servers', for wich they'll have to pay themselves.
    Americans won't have to be jealous of our high-speed low-cost connections anymore, prices will certainly go up.

    Certain drugs are addictive, because users cannot stand being without them, while I, who never tried them, do not miss them.

    Doesn't change a thing, even if you've never tried food, you still can't stand being without it. Food's not addictive.

    How about, users crave for them even though it is a toxical substance, not necessary for survival.
