It's not opinion. The human race does absolutely need to find a way into space if it wants to survive. Our planet is doomed, either a few billion years from now, or much, much sooner. Either way, it's on the cards. The sooner we start finding ways to survive somewhere else, the better.
Everyone always forgets about Ristar. His look and powers would fit the Smash Bros. series perfectly. And he's a Sonic Team character to boot, so it's definitely in the realm of possibility.
Super Mario 64?! Are you kidding me? The controls in that game were absolutely flawless. Metroid Prime I can maybe understand, since it didn't control in the same manner as every other console FPS, but I still thought it controlled fine. The game was designed with its controls in mind.
Couldn't it work based on the DOCTYPE declaration? Kind of like how it switches from quirks mode to standards compliance mode right now. Sites missing any kind of DOCTYPE would be rendered using an engine more resembling that of IE6, while sites with them would be rendered using proper web standards.
Of course I doubt it's that simple, or they would have done it already. Maybe.
Sure it's no X-Wing but it's still an enjoyable game. I'm not sure where the hate for it is coming from. It was graphically one of the best games out at its time, and did a great job of recreating the space battles from the movies.
Plus they put it together in like nine months, which is pretty impressive.
2006 is the only E3 I've attended but honestly if that was an example of getting rid of booth babes then people must have been tripping over them in previous events. There were scantily-clad girls everywhere, and I'm not just talking about the ladies room either.
Well agreed that the mature selection was pretty limited, but there are more categories than just mature and fluffy. The GC has plenty of games that don't fit into either (games like Metroid, F-Zero, Rogue Squadron, and well, heck, pretty much everything). The cute and cuddly games may be the highest profile titles on the system (because they're so good, something to think about), but it doesn't mean they're the only kind, of even the majority of the games available.
I'm beginning to wonder if some of you GameCube bashers have even played a GC before. It's a damn good system. Third party support was admittedly a little weak in comparison to the competition, but it was leagues ahead of the N64 in that regard, and honestly the Cube has some of the finest games released in the past few years. So what gives?
I would think that the service will be pretty good, the service for the DS is very good (although I wish it would be faster at finding opponents)
I think the speed of finding opponents is probably down to the game's netcode more than anything else. Mario Kart DS seemed ridiculously slow at finding other players, but Tetris DS can hook you up in just a few seconds. Surprised the hell out of me the first time I tried the multiplayer in that.

Zero Cool would have nabbed 1507.
Wasn't it ATI (who designed the Wii's GPU) that claimed it was twice as powerful as the GameCube?
Not really. It's just that the more extreme ones are louder.
Not just Window, Window S.!

Snake's on an Arwing?

First time I've ever seen anyone claim Rogue Leader was crap. It got pretty good scores across the board IIRC. And sold pretty well to boot.
Rebel Strike was the bad one.
Earth?
Less than you'd think.
