TV shows cost much, much less to produce than movies, but compare $15-20 for a movie DVD vs. $40-$50 for a TV show season. I know that one is 2 hours vs. the other being 30-40 hours, but margins on selling a TV season DVD are orders of magnitudes higher than for movie DVD. A TV series on DVD/Blu-Ray will be no longer than 16 hours, 20-23 episodes a season, 42 minutes an episode

Both formats have slow booting players right now though. When you turn on your HD or Blu-Ray player, it will be at around a minute and a half before you are watching the movie because of how slow the players are to first boot up, then to actually load the movie. This problem is still there even on the third-gen HD-DVD players that are out now (I have the Toshiba 1080p HD-DVD player that came out last month ~ $320 on Amazon).
My PS3 doesn't have this issue, the movies start up quite quickly.

Facts: HD-DVD has blue ray by the balls when it comes to price. The price gap is just sad. Given that, HD-DVD is attracting more "casual" buyers now while blue-ray sales will stagnate as only the higher salaried people can afford blue-ray. Studios are starting to favor HD-DVD. In past months, most "release to video stores" trailers I saw mentioned the film being available on Blueray as well as traditional DVD with a few offering HD-DVD as well. As of about 3 weeks ago, the blue-ray references have dropped off sharply and now almost every movie I see an ad for is mentioning HD-DVD.
Rubbish, it was a run out model, sold below cost in one market. Studios are not starting to favour HD DVD, there has been no major changes in a while now

But I will admit they made things a hell of a lot better now with "Nokia Media Transfer". Can you no longer right click on the phone number in the address book and send an SMS? It used to work fine. Also, it would be nice if they released a firmware update (none so far for the E65)

they haven't entirely moved to S60, there is still S40 etc.

I have a Nokia 70 right now, which I'd trade for any other Phone at the drop of a hat, including for Motorola even. And that is saying something.

The interface is clunky and unfriendly, the experience is slow. Integration into Linux or Mac is a right royal bitch, all issues the 6310i never had.
What issue is with OS X integration? 10.4.9 has built support for the N70. I have an E65, and yes it does crash from time to time. But the iSync always works, and the Nokia Media Transfer software works all the time as well.

Before you start complaining about the US price vs the European prices, always remember to remove the VAT from the European prices. Why can't Europeans bother to remember such a simple thing? List prices in the US do not include tax. Yeah that's right, PS3 in Ireland is 620 euro, remove 21% tax, down to 512 euro, convert to USD, $700, Amazon sells it for $499. We do remember to remove the VAT, so why the hell are the prices so different then.
