The first ever morph shown on television was generated on an Amiga, in software called Morph Plus. Later it evolved (morphed?) into a program called Elastic Reality (written by me) which became the de-facto morph/roto program for SGI workstations.
Not to mention countless television shows in the 90s with cutting edge 3D graphics rendered in a little program called Lightwave 3D. Guess where that came from?
You don't need clearance from anyone to fly an aircraft in uncontrolled airspace (class G - below 700 ft or below 1200 ft near uncontrolled airports).
Further, you can fly VFR in class E (pretty much everywhere except near airports, and below 18000 ft) without any clearance whatsoever. In fact, you are not required to talk to anyone at all if you don't want to.
Not necessarily. My photo editing app, Photo fx (video here), has been selling over 1000 a day since it was released in January. But it's really just a streamlined version of our high-end Dfx filter software which runs on Avid editing systems, Final Cut Pro, and Photoshop, etc. The iPhone version even uses the exact same optimized C++ code.
Moral of the story - make something people want (and do a credible job at it) and you'll do pretty well.
On the other hand, you are also at the often arbitrary whim of Apple reviewers. My other app, Crack, was rejected because it "simulates failure" of the iPhone screen. Very frustrating.
Boost has a very good smart pointer implementation, not to mention an excellent threading and regex package. It's nice to see an organization like NASA supporting it.
Sure, but the syntax will make them blind and they won't be emotionally ready to work around all the bugs in iPhone OS. I think the OP is trying to help them prepare for the real world, not experience it first hand before puberty. Besides, everyone knows Objective C is only really used by Apple and all we need are a bunch of smug 12 year old UBER smart-asses.
Hah.

Show's what you know.
Welcome to the Fascist States of America
You say that like we're just arriving there...

We sent out press releases, and mentioned it on a few iPhone Photography blogs - that's about it.

But I thought cable was so much better than satellite! At least that's what all those commercials proclaim!
(I watched it without commercials on my DirecTV DVR, with no cut-outs)

Quite frankly, I could care less.
I'm curious - what exactly could you care less about? How much less about something else can you actually care? Interesting!
How much faster does Left 4 Dead run on Linux?
How about Photoshop?
How about a crumpet?
BOTTLED beer.
Happy to be self-employed. I only have to spend 100% of my time "outside normal hours" working.
In February 2008, a Virgin 747 flew from London to Amsterdam partly using a fuel derived from a blend of Brazilian babassu nuts and coconuts.
Yeah but were those African or European coconuts?
He'll surprise everyone when he shows up in the new iBod, which happens to weigh what his normal weight should be.

Perhaps it became self-aware and clawed its way out. Did you ever think of that?
Oh, and Ronald Reagan.
It's just the smell of smug.
Someone should sink a well down there and retire.
It doesn't matter, as long as it's Arcturian.
And somewhat aroused...
Great. I wish I had known about this before being charged $160 for new brake grease!
As this is a timothy post, I only bothered reading the title. We're expecting our second child in January, and my wife is NOT going to like this news!
Ahem. Apparently you haven't heard of Gelato.
A meme bit my sister once...
