awww! SDKgate... that was cute! and just to let you know... I have zero buyers remorse over my iPhone. hope you and your lame ass cheap phone have fun with no sdk at all...
This is 10.5.2 which came from 10.5.1. Apple AFAIK hasn't ever charged for releases beyond the 10.x increase. 10.4 to 10.5 costs money but not 10.5.x to 10.5.y.
How do you take a balanced view of a religion that wont tell you it's beleifs before you've bought into it.
I wanted to stress that you really meant that you have to buy into it. The course to actually learn about Xenu costs $750 alone! Individually the courses to become a "clear" cost over $4500!
Relatedly, Microsoft has also announced their intent to buy Sidekick maker Danger. Financial details of the Danger buyout were not disclosed.
Seems like M$ has strong intention turn the Zune into a phone now. I only hope that they do this well and actually INNOVATE something new and exciting! I for one would love for a good competition to be spurred between MS and Apple in the phone department...
On Microsoft.com, Sandi Hardmeier, MVP, concludes her adware definition, "Ads are not bad by themselves but they become a problem when they are unauthorized. Unfortunately, many adware programs do not give users enough notice or control." In Office, where is the "notice or control"?
I don't use Office, so after reading this post and viewing the identical page that supposedly contains the adware, it's pretty clear that this article is just fud. You have to click for the ad's to even be displayed! How is that not control?!
Seriously... an article from OpenOffice.org Ninja? How is it not going to biased?!
I agree...
I really couldn't care less if the Mythbusters want my phone to have a universal power adapter. Why is this news? It seems like the paragraph or two that mentioned Linux was the only reason for this article to be relevant, and I don't wanna read about another person telling me why a Windows PC is bad.
Where are you going that's going to cost a couple hundred an hour?!
You must live in LA or NY... otherwise, shop around, I'd hope you can find a better arrangement than that.
So, if I need to talk to a computer, but do it quietly, it can just read my lips, right? Or can I just mouth the words and have it understand that? I've found that when I try to 'mouth' words silently to someone across a room, I tend to exaggerate my mouth's movements, so perhaps that would be a better thing for the computers to be able to 'parse'.??? I think that if you looked at the broad range of mouth movements people make, the patterns for words would be similar regardless. The way that I say "wash" will differ from the way that you do, but there certainly have to be striking amounts of similarities that would be able to be distinguished by this technology. Even if you over-exaggerate your mouths movement trying to say something quietly, that over-exaggeration would likely still fall within the normal patterns that the technology would expect and analyze.
Minority Report definitely used a technology closer to Apple's multi-touch or Microsoft's Surface. Both of those get rid an interface to interact with a screen and allow you to use your fingers.
I can't believe its been suggested to dump a vinyl into.wav files. Are you guys for real?
You do realize that a CD is high quality lossless audio, right?
Unless you guys have amazingly high end converters youd be much better off just buying SACDs or DVD-As if youre looking for higher fidelity playback.
I'm totally pro-vinyl though, and am stoked that other people still are!
you should know who you're talking to before you throw accusations of having no talent...
I make music for a living and fully understand the feasiblity of people making their own music. the fact remains though that you cannot distribute music you don't own. if artists decide to go that direction then its their decision, not yours.
So what you're really saying is that you have no regard for copyrights or who owns them, and you think Apple should facilitate a program that allows you to break copyright laws as you see fit? Riiiiight... Apple totally is in the wrong here.
If you're gong to complaining, use some common sense. Apple doesn't own the rights to the music they sell, and unless you've purchased it then neither do you.
And if you wanna call me out on my fanboy status, well then go for it. It also kept me in the loop about how Apples trying to drop DRM on their entire library while at the same time lowering cost and raising quality.
You can definitely have quad and dual graphics cards on a Mac Pro.
And correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that the Core 2 Extreme is 64 bit, which would make the argument a bit weak.
The best sound cards? On what level? Consumer? I definitely think that anything Dell or Alienware ships out is crap, but that's because I'm an audio engineer.
I think you're argument is based on your desires as opposed to the actual ability of a Mac Pro. Maybe you should try one out and then get back with everyone.
its a tarp!
I don't really have any experience with those, but I know for a fact that windows is a horrible environment for PT. The shortcuts are waaaaaack!
protools. fuck you.
how do you end up getting ships in and out of the coast?

1/5%? Do you mean 20%?
Well I guess I was more talking about the screens that they would use, and not the portable unit they were using for transfers.
Minority Report definitely used a technology closer to Apple's multi-touch or Microsoft's Surface. Both of those get rid an interface to interact with a screen and allow you to use your fingers.
Apple needs more free publicity? Watch a movie... see a mac in it... how much was paid for that spot? Watch slashdot for your free apple pub.
I wonder how long Apple has known about this. The switch from IBM was a great move!
guess what... you're an idiot.
ummmm... do you have an iPhone? I do, and I've first hand taken plenty of pictures that I like. I don't understand why everyone is hatinnnn
no.

get a clue?
