As an end user, I'd like to see an app store where liability insurance is mandatory to cover damages that users may experience from misleading or malicious closed-source apps. The insurance companies should still require source. For totally open source apps, the store should indicate if/what independent volunteer group (or one funded by a small per-app fee) has reviewed the app.

I just wanted to mention something I noticed this weekend, anecdotally of course: I watched two episodes of X-Files (roughly 1.5 hours) on the iPhone Hulu app and only noticed a 15% or so drain on the battery. I'd be surprised if a mobile version of Flash could pull that off without co-operation from the site on the other end.

Most I've been able to find via facebook by following their network of connections. I don't know what Facebook's longevity is, but if it remains fairly popular over the next 10 years, I could see myself keeping in contact with a much broader group of people than I've been able to up until before I started using Facebook. Mainly this is because it's a much more intuitive way of finding people. In some ways, it's like the way computers were portrayed in the 80's. You know.. you put in a name and you find people based on their photo.

Sorry, I'm babbling because I'm tired and have no sense of when to stop typing. I will say this, though, Facebook for me has become what Linked-in should have been. I know some people see Facebook as a fad, and with good reason, but I suspect it'll be around 10 years from now and a fairly de-facto way to keep in long-term contact with people.
