    No, cygwin doesn't. Colinux runs a second kernel alongside the Windows NT one. Cygwin translates into windows api calls.

    - go to about:config
    - right-click and select New/Integer preference
    - make a pref called "privacy.popups.disable_from_plugins"
    - set the value 2

    Now plugins are treated just like javascripts trying to open popups--they get blocked by the popup blocker. You have the option then to show the popup or to allow them for that site if you want.

    I believe if you then find out that the cd-key has been registered, you can mail the physical disc/cd-key to Valve and they will give you a new one.

    If you bought the game, and someone else had already opened it and stole the cd-key, you can mail it to Valve and they'll issue you a new one (and deactivate the other guy).

    Really, it's not that hard. CIBC bank in Canada uses Windows 2000 on its newer ATM's--I've seen one with a "Low memory" error box popped up, and another with a blue screen.

    A lot of retailers use Windows 2000 on their registers, and your credit card authorizations go over the internet.

    How are the Opterons at standard FPU operations in double precision? SSE2 and friends are nice, unless you have to make compromises in your simulations.

    I ask, because I remember that the Athlons beat the pants off the Pentium 4's in FPU operations, so all the benchmarks were rewritten to use SSE2.

    My copy of XP is only legit because I could get XP Professional for $100 canadian under a student licensing program at my University. Since I haven't been a student for a year now, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to buy it again.

    The water will be treated and enter the drinking water supply at normal temperature after it is used to cool buildings. It will just take the place of other water that would enter the drinking water, and be discharged the way it all currently is.

    Being ambidextrous, I can attest to this, the numeric pad is the best place to use on the keyboard in games, and the mouse goes on the left.
