I can't see that terrorists make alot of money from piracy, probably just random warez people doing the "warez" thing(which I think is stupid). But thats besides the fact. They broke the law, was distributing lots of illegal software and were caught. They deserved to be punished and $6.5 million is a reasonable amount, not like the $9 trillion the RIAA sued that kid for.
Despite being "disappointing" to analysts with earnings growth of "only" 86%, Google will continue to be strong for many years to come. Its already the dominate players in search engines and a leader in contextual based advertising. I'm not sure about the other projects Google is up to though, they don't really make the company profit and may be detrimental in the long run.
But from what I understand of it, Google is making more of a bare-bones type of system, not the all-in-one-out-of-box thing that Microsoft does. There were also rumors that Google was going to team of Wal-Mart to sell computers under its own brand name. I'm not sure about Google strategy, maybe its overextending itself. Its Forte is in the internet advertising market where all their profits come from. I'm wondering if this will actually hurt their bottom line.
On a side note: Google's shares fell 15.5% today for failing to meet analyst expectations.
Despite what they say, I can quite believe that being fat is contagious. I've always thought it was in large part genetics, like allergic reactions and such, but not a disease that you could spread.
Its not all that surprising if you think about it. Wiki's never been a reliable resource for much. People use it out of convenience. I douobt anyone would actually quote it in a serious essay. its expected to be open to these sorts of abuses.
instead of offering rebates, I really wish they'd just lower the price of the item to some percentage of what they offer rebate. Although doing in online is a whole lot better than mailing in.
Why would you buy from there anyways, the selection usually sucks and stuff is usually cheaper at www.newegg.com and amazon anyways.
So the legends of giant sea monsters are true! Whoa, next thing you know, Godzilla will pop put of the ocean and kill Tokyo. I'll be sure to get footage of that.
Wasn't it our government who Sopena'ed google a while back to release the search data for reason of "anti-terrorism"? We're becoming no better than the rest of them.
Google doesn't have a choice in this matter. China can use other search technology if they have to and google doesn't want to risk losing china. There's only so much you can do.

It was a very tragic disaster that could have been easily avoided. I sincerely hope, we do not goof up like that again in the future.
This is the final straw. I am going to sue blizzard for their obvious intent on destroying lives.

The data might be encrypted but the real question is, was the car locked?
Anyone an see this was one of those idiotic lawsuits in a cheap attempts to make some cash.
Not too sure about this one, I wonder how helpful it could actually be. Interested in their methods of tracking also.
