Ok so people buy a $500 dollar ps3 to watch blue ray discs.To watch movies and all that other stuff.
They throw out their vcrs,dvd players and the like.
Now Sony's famous quality kicks in and their $500 dolalr appliance that they threw everything else out for breaks and they need to spend another $500 dolalrs for a new one?
That wouldnt make sony look very good.
People keep saying Nintendo is Taking a huge bet. Well Sony is taking an even bigger bet. They arent doing very well financially. If the PS3 flops it could mean the end of Sony not by money but byt brandname.
The ps3 could tarnish the brand name of Sony.
IF you were a parent and you saw a $150 dollar console that you could play, a $300 dolalr xbox 360 or a $500 dolalr ps3 wich one would you buy? One of the first two right?
From what i see i would be able to buy a Rev and a 360 for the price of a ps3
I thought i read an article that apple had access to intels,IBMs,amd AMDS roadmaps and future cheaps and picked Intel? I thin kapple new about these new IBM chips.
I am an etwork admin in a library. Many libraries have cd and dvd repairing machines (the professional kind) so all it takes is to let them know that a cd is scratched.
Second Atleats the libary that I work in has a bigger dvd collection then probably the local blockbusters and holywood videos.
This could harm many libraries because people dont read books anymore. Libraries depend on free computer and wifi access and the cd and dvd takeout.
Oh trust me the riaa and mpaa will hear about it.
The problem is verizon is stopping companies like cablevision,and other companies from using their bandwidth. basically all traffic that is not from a verizon customer will be severely limited.
so if you have cablevision.verizon,timewarner,comcast or anybody else that uses verizon to connect their network to the other networks will be very slow.
It should be illegal what verizon wants to do making the net extremely slow for anybody not using a verizon connection.
ISnt this the kind of stuff mabell was broken up for to begin with ?

Last time I checked most errors that people get are because of the poor programming of an application that you are using not the os it self.
People run as administrators because most applications (cough the sims 2) need to be run as administrator .
Also a lot of the things people wish that can be done with windows atleast networking and security I have been learning are there in Windows XP

I have never had windows itself crash. All the crashes in windows xp were due to programs that are poorly coded. Some virus scanners in windows are poorly coded and caused some bugs that you would think are due to the op system itself. Mcaffee Virus scan is very buggy. I have noticed so is symantec anti virus .
People are balming microsoft for things that they should be blaming on the application writers.
The main problem is that microsoft allows code writers to be lazy.
They are actually patenting a set key that is only for emoticons on the cell phone. not the emoticons yourself.

BUt they are not petenting the emoticons. they are patenting a set key on the phone that brings up a menu for u to select them.
