    IF Nintendo didnt accept the buyout offer from microsoft why would sony? I do not think any japanese company would accept a buyout from an american company especially microsoft.

    verizon is going around trying to get in peoples heads that coax is a thing of the past and can't even touch the same speeds. meanwhile my isp (cablevision) is deleivering the same speeds as verizons all fiber network. There are new technologies that allow coax to get the same speeds as fiber as long as the backbone is fiber. FTTN. At$t is different though because they uses even less quality wire then coax.

    Who ever said that no monitors support hdcp are wrong. the newest models of the 24 inch dell lcd panel support dvi hdcp. So all you would need is a dvi to Hdmi adapter. We use regular dell lcd panels here and they are gorgeus. If it wasnt for the fact i just bought a 26 inch crt tv with hdmi hdcp ports i would have bought a 24 inch dell lcd widescreen display.

    The way the eu has been acting I really do not think they are treating microsoft fair. Microsoft handed the source code to them and they still said no.

    All the documentation is on msdn and tech net.

    What more do they want? They already have a version of windows without the stuff that was in question ?

    I really think the eu has it in for microsoft.

    There is a new degree out . Its called managment of information technology (it might not be new but was new when i took it).

    They mashed together a business management degree and a netwok degree.

    It has helped me a great deal and i can see why companies want people with business experience. You can help people a great deal more when you know how business works as a whole. You will get father.

    people keep forgetting to look into civil service jobs. I am a network technician at a library. I make $50,000 a year and I am on a union so i have job security. Ther is also room for me to move up there are about 6 or 7 higher jobs titles that I can move onto in my county alone . For each one you have to take a test. People also keep forgetting that for every job that moves to india you need a network person here in the U.S. that keeps the required links and phone systems running that conenct that office in india to the U.S.

    Nintendos service is free. yes there is no voice chat during games. Metroid prime hunters has voice chat before and after the games. ITs an awesome service. Not all games use friend codes.Mario kart just assigns people to the game and it starts. If sony could even be remotely close to this then there shouldnt be a problem. Also Nintendo uses gamespy too.

    People already have free internet. This is really funny. The public has free broadband access its called your local library. I a network admin at a library (awesoem salary) . we have our public computers connected to a t1 line and we have free wireless that is conencted to a cablevision conenction (wich is free to all schools and libraries) wich is a 15/2 connection. everybody has access to this and its free. Why spend money when you can go down to your local library and use the computers there?

    Microsoft has been doing things for unix for a while. Microsoft actually had a big unix side. They eventually sold a big portion of it to a small company that i used to work for called proginet . I was amazed at all the microsoft stuff they had. They had some microsoft applications that I didnt even know existed .

    I find it funny that now they are trying to go back to unix stuff.

    My college has a program wich I graduated from wich solves this very problem. Its called management of technology. They took network admin and a business administration degree and combined them to form the degree. I graduated from it last may. You learn all the essentials to run a network and all the essentials of how a business runs and how to run it. Awesome program

    This is funny. The ussers who cant even figure out how to press a power button (no joke had this happen) think they know more of whats going on then the people who went to school for it really funny. There are more things that go on behind the scenes then people think.

    I watched the special about this on the discovery channel. Even though europe's orbiter images below the surface this one does it with more detail. This is basically being used to make more detailed full planet maps of the surface. Can't wait to see the first pictures from it.

    Microsoft can leave Europe. we don't know the wording to the contracts. Also linux isn't the best system Either.We have a linux system here that crashes completely everytime we try to update it. Wich means we have to load the backup image everytime. no matter what anybody else says I have never had a windows server crash on me . Imagine all of the european users trying to compile programs just so they can run it on their machine? IF microsoft pulled out of europe europe would be in trouble. Microsoft products are in more places then you think.

    Much of this is possible now if you get a good wireless router. The ones that or like 108mbps or above or the pre n stuff. I saw this wireless speaker in a store that is much like the sharper image that is wireless and sounds better then a lot of the more expensive ones and it only $150 dollars. You can get wireless video cameras for under $100 dollars and now you can get fast wireless cards for your desktop witch are pretty fast too. I have a laptop and thats all I need besides my desktop. i can go anywhere in the house with full speed on my 15/2 cable conenction. all I want is solar panels or a generator , a wood stove, and wireless speakers. the one I mentioned has a handle on it and can be bought with you.

    I think that if programemrs were as efficient at programming as nintendo iss then we wouldn't need such advances. The gamecube ran software almost on par with an xbox 360 with processor specs at almost have the speed. Why can't programemrs just be more efficient at what they do and hwo they use the computers rescources?

    Everybody blast cablevision for their uplaod caps but I have never had any problems like this. I have cablevisions voip service wich is 10 times better then verizons phone service in the area. Always had lines crossed with verizon. Never had a voip problem .

    With my experience with dells servers they are extremely reliable. Even if a server part broke down. The part got shipped next day . If I was a business and depended on my servers I would pay more to have them reliable.

    for a free service that gives you 100mb of storage its not bad. I signed up and tested it. Your pages do not have any adds and you get 100mb for free. Even if you do not want to create a website its not bad for hosting picture files and other things.

    On the network that I run they wouldnt be able to get to the important files because you need to be an admin and unless you sneak into my office or the director or assoc directors office you wont be able to get documents. Thos are the only people who can get the important docs. admins or the people who created them . Second Windows 2003 can log what accounts logged into what share or files on that server if its a 2003 server. Also here at teh library we have extra security in the way of security cameras focused directly at the computers. I can see what everybody is doing plus we have some programs that you would have to hack in order to be able to even access the required stuff to be able to do this. Any secure network this would not work on. If it does then the network admin needs to be fired.
