So basically the BSD license is more free, as long as someone doesnt use all the benefits of the license (using it in a close sourced product, one of the benefits touted of the BSD license mind you)
If i recall correctly, didnt the openbsd team make replacement for GNUPGP? Honestly i cant remember, but i thought they did. they would be able to sign then using that
but even if they didnt. Signed binaries, just like the signed source packages. The downfall of openbsd. People trust the source, because a team audited.
to play devils advocate. they dont care about the hardcore people that will crack it no matter what. but you know a number of people that are casual copiers. they rent crack and copy dvds effortlessly. That is the aim. that and control. but if they can stop the casual copiers. that is what they want.
Your password is nothing but a series of 1s and 0s. Biometric data is still a series of 1s and 0s There is nothing magical about biometrics, at the end of the day it is still a regular old password comprised of 1s and 0s
I noticed that when you would copy large amounts of files everything would be swapped out to do so. Including the explorer menu. It was rather pathetic to have to wait to get things out of swap for something as trivial as hitting the start button.
I misread what you said, it sounded like you meant UCE could be considered ham if it were sent in a proper fashion. I just mena it isnt just the fact that he used hacked systems etc, but in the end, regardless of method, the message and content is still UCE. Although that would result in lower penalties because less laws would be broken.

You mean they use it exactly as the license allows?
it isnt ripping off if you are not only allowed, but encourage to do just that.

"What's far more likely is that the "War on Piracy" is to stop piracy from becoming an accepted part of modern culture"
I think they should run up the old "mission accomplished" banner on that front.
They are simply going to have to accept that casual copying IS a part of modern culture

you cant sue yourself
Tell the manager: "Fine I will be calling my credit card company and denying authorization for that charge"
It is now the stores problem.
And mastercard can throw its weight around
Because intel, IBM, nvidia, amd, etc don't count?
although I don't disagree entirely, that is a pretty bad blanket statement...
PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii.
You send emails to yourself?
How many 1s and 0s will actually be checked... :P
Remember MSs 8 character passwords

That is what everything is displayed as on my browser. I have it set to ignore all fonts from the site and simply use verdana: sizes 8-12

Ham is legitimate email. UCE will never be considered ham.
I did the same thing last night.
I want to combine that with iptables log analyzer. How should I log that?
I found a couple of references but it seemed like it was logging everything even though it was not important.
I just imported that list to drop all.
I am going to set up the log analyzer and see how effective it is.
I still have some issues with getting it to log properly.
By default everything is accepted, except the drop list.
Proof?
Lots of people die everyday, some of them don't deserve to live.
and?
are you implying there is something wrong with re-evaluating circumstances and utilizing other OSS?
The biggest mistake one can ever make is attempting to make simple statements permanent regardless of how the environment around it changes.
Are you drunk?
It would have been impossible to distribute 2 million copies in one day. Her lawyer totally failed if he allowed that to be used as a basis.
Apparently you are lady, you put a judgement of 200K over a few songs.
She could have shoplifted the cds for a few hundred dollars in fines.
Back to the Future 3
It would be that animated gif of the guy beating a dead horse.
Does anyone have any actual insight into this, yes we get it, you don't need to register copyrights, move along to something relevant.
