Does this crack any security in the device that protects media? I could argue that it does not. Specifically DMCA complaints have to involve that it was used as copy protection, what copy protection is this providing?
You dont need to run someone over, (i am talking about 1-3 mph speeds here) usually the simple threat that a car is coming towards you will cause their reaction of moving. But basically you can just push them if need be, it wont even come to that, they will move.
It seems rather simple, my car will occupy the space you are in. you will move. i will drive slow and that will be it.
No you dont have to honor their request to show a receipt. I usually do, but when there is a line to leave, i will not and i will simply walk out ignoring their requests.
No, she is an idiot for judging thing she does not comprehend. if she does not comprehend a case, she has no business going further until she does have a basic understanding of it.
You kind of missed my point. Set the log file to ram. What happens when logs get too big? they get purged. so when that log file reaches its limit of 256 megs time for it to be rotated and purged
Do you know how easy it would be to make several components operate together in a certain manner to bug a system. Hint, it is easy. Do you know how difficult it is to spot? its nearly impossible.
We did it to the russians many times, it also was the cause of the gas explosion during the cold war.
Actually since China has in fact worked hand in hand with business for corporate espionage the paranoia is well justified.
In the paper shredders in the hotels, they had scanners also that would scan the paper. Or how about the US bugging tiawanese chips that caused that gas explosion in the cold war...
It isnt something to go red scare over, but it is absolutely idiotic to pretend it couldnt happen
I never understood why people get all excited about the piratebay and torrentspy. They are shitty trackers filled with horribly named, low quality garbage.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Seriously, this is a dupe. Eventually people are just gonna have to accept that "reasonable" limits do exist on a service.
I think they should specify what those limits are, but lots of limits in life are not strictly specified, basically be reasonable. speed limits might have a specified limit, however everyone goes at a speed of whats reasonable and ignores the hard limit.
this is a dupe because it is now known comcast does this. it isnt news, it isnt shocking, it is well known, it is stupid but it isnt gonna change.
they should just specify somethign in their agreement and be done with it, "250 gig transfer per month" no one really gives a shit if its called "unlimited" anyways, all they care about is how fast it is.
well i dont know too many people that download songs then claim them as their own. When someone snags code, they are now claiming it as their own, that they wrote it etc.
Although i wont claim downloading songs is moral by any means, however, there is a major difference between downloading a song to listen to. and downloading code and incoporating into your own product.
Because the people getting the license violated do want to settle for cash? they just want their license to be respected (a license that allows free use compared to a license by music producers that dont offer anything free, ever)
they dont want money, the RIAA does, that is all they want.
Thank you, hah, damn I really should have used that, but I probably wouldn't have received a single comment regarding the article at hand
at 20+ megs a track.

iTunes doenst even come close to the power of gtkpod
I hate poorly named mp3s, gtkpod can get my entire ipod properly organized in a matter of minutes because of the nifty variety of views.
What if it's a stolen iPod?
Up until recently?
It was never about issues, it was always about popularity, George washington kicks it off pretty well when it comes to that concept.
how about JFK?
It typically trickles down.
IRC and FTP are closely linked.
Then a bittorrent uploader snags it from the scene ftp and uploads it to a torrent site. typically within 20 minutes or less of it being pre-ed
Warez sites != web
Most of the half way decent releases that are trackers originated from an FTP, a scene FTP.
I just disable those restrictions.
My network isnt connected to the intertubes, so why cant i have a blank password for a remote desktop connection.
Because the heading "Sponsored Links" is just simply too confusing.

You are not a lawyer are you?
Your entire post was full of fail.

SWT is mediocore at best.

that is called common sense.
You kind of missed my point.

So make the log in ram then...

ie downloading something, vs selling it.

So basically they are working like everyone else has to already.
so sad
