You may have worked for a company that let you do that, but my experience in over 38 years at several different companies is that no, you can negotiate for 10 - 20 % more salary (as I have) but the things like leave and 401K contribution are set in stone and non-negotiable.
Also, as another poster mentions, with inflation averaging about 3% per year, if you do not get a raise equal to that or larger, you are losing money and should get a new job... (That's actually what I do. Any year where I don't make at least 6% increase, I go looking for a new position, usually with a 10% increase in pay from the new company)

To answer, even to say that the info requested is not relevant costs money! Lawyers can and do continue to file request for information (which legally MUST be answered one way or another within 30 days or you are presumptively presumed guilty!)
I could keep you in court for YEARS in this manner thus bankrupting you without the judge ever ruling anything.

Agree, here is my anecdote: my fiancée used to work two part time jobs, making about $25K per year (for about 60 hours per week of work) no benefits from either job. She had Medicare/Medicaid (whichever, I forget) and was covered 100%.
Obamacare came along and her mediXXX coverage was removed. She was FORCED to spend $1000/year (or be penalized via IRS taking more of her money) of her own money to buy plans which did not cover her 80% much less the former 100%.
Now she has gotten one full time job (making $32K/year) and has benefits, but her coverage is still only about 80% and costs her (her share, not her employers share) is about $177/month.
the thing about the "Affordable Healthcare" plans is, if they really made a difference, then the Insurance companies would have lobbied against them. They did not, therefore they are not really making a difference. The thing that made the difference is that now the IRS punishes you if you don't have healthcare.
Nope. I do not recommend it. It may be 'free', but that is not good enough to make it worth my while. I find that the whole system is kludgey, it is harder to navigate/find things and the default method injects ads into every search (of my own hard drive!) that I ask it to make. I haven't taken the time to find all the settings to turn that crapware off, if such exist, because I need to actually use the thing, not fuckabout with it.
