I've had this command in my WRT54GL running DD-WRT for a while:
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 39984 --tcp-flags RST RST -j DROP
just replace 39984 with whatever post you use for bittorrent
I believe that it is legal to download a TV show if it is over the air or a cable tv show which you pay for (by subscribing to cable or satellite that gets that tv show). It's essentially the same thing that a DVR does, from a different source.
However, the illegal part comes in when you download a cable show that you don't get on your cable/satellite or share to other people. Not that I have any qualms about downloading and sharing Top Gear:)
So the Smart is safe because it hit a nice big car with a large crumple zone? It's still horribly unsafe when it hits anything stationary like a telephone pole.
I wouldn't exactly call a Smart "safe," at least compared to larger cars.
It might have a spiffy protective cage so that cabin doesn't deform in a crash and smoosh the occupants, but you can't argue with physics. And I'm not talking about mass and collisions with large SUVs. The tiny size means that when you hit something there is less time to decelerate since the distance between the front bumper and the passenger cabin is so small. This means that the force acting on the occupants in a crash is multiple times greater than in a normal sized car.
It may be safe for a car its size, but compared to any run of the mill small car it's *NOT* safe.

But with Windows on a $700 laptop, I'm sure they install all kinds of crapware that brings the cost down, which they obviously can't do with Linux. I wouldn't be surprised if the actual cost to Dell for Windows and Linux is the same.
I wouldn't consider paying more for better quality music as I already don't buy any crappy quality download music, but I would at least consider it if the quality went up and the price remained the same.

NO SHIT. Now if only it was possible to actually steal music via the internet.
Maximum PC magazine received a few hard drives for review from a manufacturer they would not name, about a year about. What were they packaged in? Four CRATES, yes WOODEN CRATES, three of which were completely empty.
What are they smoking? Most people run what, 1.5 to 4mbit connections? Even the slowest hard drives on Dells should be able to manage 25mbytes a second, on the slowest part of the drive. That's like 200mbit internet.
There are also 15.4" panels that are 1920x1200, Lenovo (at least used to) offer them on T61p's.
Asus 16:10 19", 1680x1050 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236056 Samsung 16:9 23", 2048x1152 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001317 Additionally, there are many 16:9 21.5" monitors that are 1920x1080, and Lenovo makes a nice 16:10 22" that's 1920x1200
171 mph top speed jumps out at me as very uncompetitive at Le Mans. The Circuit de la Sarthe is a long track with a lot of straights, especially the Mulsanne Straight. Last year, the cars in the GT2 class which I assume this will compete in (the slowest class) topped out at 182-186mph for the most part. It's in their name.

Firefox is arguably much better than its competition, IE, but OpenOffice is arguably worse than the competition, Office.
Nope, the GL and G v4 both have 16mb of memory and 4mb flash.
...do you think nextel will pay someone to change their name to 'nex' and let nextel use their .tel?
If you took some time to look at the page, you would see that one may ask questions about anything. Douchbag!!!
