It does mean that, yes. I should have been clearer in my post. (And it will be available for the other regional servers in the future as you can see in the rest of the thread)

The following games are supported at this time: StarCraft, StarCraft Battle Chest, StarCraft + Extension, Warcraft III, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, Warcraft III + Extension, Diablo II, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, Diablo II + Extension

And World of Warcraft, though only for American accounts for now.

I hear the gaming argument all the time, but I don't understand it. I have a Logitech RF mouse and it seems just as instantly responsive as any corded mouse. I also play FPSes and I don't see a difference there. Granted, I'm not the type that scores a headshot the moment 1 pixel of the opponent is visible on the opposite side of the map, but I really don't see what corded mice have over wireless ones for gaming, they seem identical to me.

As for the battery thing - I can see how that could be an issue, though my Logitech LX5 uses 2 AAs which last for at least 4 months, and it has a warning light that lights up about a week before the mouse actually starts showing symptoms of low batteries so you have plenty of time to replace them.

Well, I currently have 141 tabs open, and Firefox has been running for days (not sure how many exactly, but at least 5). The tabs contain a rather diverse collection of websites, including many with flash. It's currently using 780 MB memory (3.0.6 on XP SP3).

I think that's a pretty acceptable amount of memory for this many tabs. In fact, if it scaled perfectly linearly (which it doesn't, of course) that would mean only 78 MB taken when you have 14 tabs open (which is probably much higher than the average number of tabs a non-power user would have open).

I didn't even know the two modes worked differently until now. In my eyes the problems are:

    • That the mode is switched from a menu called "View", implying that there is only a visual, not a functional difference.
    • A scientific calculator shows you the expression so far, while this one doesn't, despite having way more screen estate than a desktop calculator. So it functions differently from what it displays to the user (it remembers the whole expression, but only shows you the last thing entered).

Both are pretty major issues for such a simple app, IMO.

They've already answered the fourth race question. Can't give you a link (but Google should help, and the story I read it in was featured on /.), but there will not be a fourth fully playable race (though there might be a few extra units in the campaign) in SCII, but it might be considered for an expansion.

I think your other question was also somewhat covered in the same interview. It's partially for story reasons and partially because they're making a new game - they need new content, not just SC1 with fancy graphics. They also have a rough "limit" of units per race, so they can't just add new units without removing old ones.
