    its not about disliking him or not, its about the clear abuse of slashdot by this one person trying to use the site as their personal blog.

    If people want to read his stuff, there is a section in the site under the user name that allows him to write his crap, and his friends to see his crap.

    He could actually post useful info, but the abuse is what is turning me off and i would wager many others

    im not so sure, i know quite a number of non techie people who would absolutely LOVE a 3d printer, however the marketing for them has not ramped up really yet, and rightly so as they are not ready for mainstream IMO

    I believe he wasa talking about the hacks needed to run most early PCs, messing with jumpers, add on cards, even breadboards. C64 while early, was not "early"

    how is this insightful?

    The vaccines are only good for current strains and only work if everyone (or most) are vaccinated. If a large population is not, then the diseases mutate, rendering the vaccines worthless and putting everyone at risk

    not that i disagree per se, but thats pretty much a no true scotsman fallacy no? No party in american politics is 100% to its core. Democrats claim to be for the poor people, yet they keep pushing bills that directly hurt the poor. republicans say they are for limited government, except for military/police, or if you are a woman.
