the constitution specifically states that anything not in the document is NOT permissible by the federal government. The constitution does not give the PEOPLE rights, it LIMITS the governments.
As pointed out there is an amendment process if the federal government feels it needs more power concerning X. Unfortunately the feds have bastardized executive orders and the interstate commerce clause to superceed the constitution. It is wrong simple as that. and more and more americans are waking up to this fact.
I watched the entire hearing last night, and Its hard to tell which side the judge panel was on, however they did seem to be more interested in the ACLU side over the governments. Obviously we have to wait and see but these judges did NOT seem dumb in the slightest
i remember in middle school making a cardboard "nuke" for a science fair, it was schematically correct someone could have used it to build a working nuke, of they could obtain the materials.
no not at all. I actually got along with my girlfriends parents quite well (still friends with her to this day, although not together) It was a creative writing project and I was very creative.
believe it or not there is a large number of people who will only mess with someone IF they bring it upon themselves, or if they did wrong.Take donglegate for instance, some would say they just ruined adria richards life for no reason, Others would say they defended a man who got fired for making a joke..
the people actually talking that 10 year girl into killing herself (and mean it) are few, most probably think that "shes" just some guy trying to make a thread for the lulz.
on the flip side how do you feel about all the good that has come from the site, There are numerous stories about/b/ros helping other/b/ros in the news, or when anon goes after pedophiles etc.
