Half of Belgium TV is French, all of it (French AND Dutch) seems rather crappy (CSI:whatever x7 and Big Brother VIPs) At least it is Analog for all over-the-air, and all digital TV seems to be some poor-quality IPTV (Belgacom is REALLY bad).
I thought that "The Netherlands" (pl) were more than just Holland. Guess I was wrong?
Hint: Go live in a country where the EULA doesn't mean shite.
You paid for the thing, transaction is done. If the product is faulty under warranty (2 years where I live), demand a refund or accept to use a broken piece of something. If hit unknowingly, sue for damages.
I AM interested in "next-gen" video, but aint no chance-in-hell I'd fork over money for Both a video-player And a game-console. I do not have that kind of cash, not room in my 50m2 living-room. I want 1 simple-to-use box that does it all and that the Girlfriend-unit wont murder me in my sleep for spending money on.
Lack of development, me-thinks. Whenever I look at SDL, I find that they "look" old. All news also seems to be about games/engines using SDL, and not innovations within SDL.
Might also just be that the website looks like it was done in the early nineties?;)
Actually, doing development on different platforms, and doing a bit of porting of commercial products, I can tell you one thing:
Coding with Cross-Platform in mind can often save you money in the long run, simply because you tend to end up with cleaner code.
Yes, I am not providing any proof, just a statement of a Windows/Unix/Linux/Mac developer.
300 million in the US, 6000 million on the planet.... No, is not a matter of ignoring the US market, but getting the best product out and then sod it if 5% of the market choose to have laws making the best product illegal.
(I know that there are different levels of computer-literacy in the various countries, but THAT shouldn't stop us from getting the poorer countries a great, cheap product!)
Sorry, but I fully expect a PJ The Hobbit / There and back again to be bright and colorfull and stuff... I for one am not expecting anything dark and sinister from THAT movie.
What I'd like to see is a statement from IBM and friends using the word "Libel", preferably in a manner that makes a judge use the words "Discovery" and "Evidence".
Doesn't matter whether MS is able to produce anything, as long as we can shut them up and move forward.
I click a few buttons on my remote and my TV+Inet provider is streaming me an MPEG2/4 stream that gets displayed immediately on my telly. HDTV? Coming this december.
Pay-per-view already lets me rent stuff without waiting, so outside of "owning" the stuff (which you can forget all about if living in the US-of-DRMed-A), there is no need for HiDef disks.
....and I'm gonna buy they PS3 + BluRay movies when available!
Dylan is playing Hercules in Space with the assistence of a really bad cameraman. It was as if someone took the show and flushed it down the toilet.
/G
THAT might have been because "Dylan" decided to take control of all parts of the show himself...
So we are now talking about Open Destination Business? *ponder*

Having followed news the last decade or so, I think that the American public is already without education, no?

Speak for yourself - Denmark, Norway and the UK produce more gas than they require.
..but the ones who are supposed to kick Putin et al out of office, are the Russians. Come next election, they might just be tired of him?

No, its Windows' fault to be a royal pain in the beehind. Simple.
/G
I'm guessing they'd have to drop EA first...

Thank you for this usefull information.
Yes, and the remaining 40% would be impossible to understand!
I don't think Balmer would run...

May I suggest this?

ColorCode3D
Is not anaglyph, and renders colors a lot better IMO.
Still has the problems with the Dominant Eye issue, though.
