Actually I've had no reason to like or hate them and never really visited them for any reason, now the balance is tilted and they have aligned themselves with crap products.
I will not be there tomorrow, and I won't buy from them for at least a year.
The EE is a very powerful and complex system, and I think it rocks from a developer and gamer standpoint.
They never said it, but with all the whining I heard I'm pretty sure a few PS2 developers wanted to be put out of their misery because of how unfriendly the fancy schmancy graphics engine was. It showed in an abysmal first generation of games and PS2 still doesn't display any texture filtering that I notice.
There were a couple of Amiga 500 computers that had motherboads with fewer/smaller chips than the orginal A500 design. They were cheaper than the orginal A500 too. I know because I have one of those late-model A500's
To my knowledge they never shrunk/merged the Paulas and Denises and Garys and Agnuses of the EOC/ECS systems. Most I recall is the surface mount CIA chips on the AGA systems, which was absolutely stupid considering they blow with no minor frequency and have their hands in just about everything.
Improve the search engines so that when I'm searching for Chinese food restaurants I don't get sites from everywhere from Nanking to Tierra del Fuego when I live in one small town. That a worth while expenditure of time, money and energy.
Why don't you add your location as a search term and start whining about why all your local chinese food places don't have decent websites?:-)
Amiga, Inc. (http://www.amiga.com) has partnered with Tao Group to deliver on platform independant multimedia. Doesn't look like Amiga plans to repeat history by producing a custom hardware and OS again.

I liked the idea of using the QNX kernel, that was Amiga. This is TIMMY!!!
I'm not sure I would want to purchase these games because they couldn't utilize the advantages of each console. What if I like Gamecube because of the way it uses anti-aliasing? Well, the AA capabilities of the PS2 pale in comparison and a universal game would have to accomodate the PS2's weakness.
Umm, actually the PS2 interpreter can just ignore the fancy texel filter flag and look ugly with no impact on the GC version. Not that I'd know what GC would do with all those R and L button definitions or what PS2 would do when asked to store 40 megs of data in RAM, and they'd both suffer when something decided to cache something to harddisk.:-)

Its a shame they can't blow cars up. Believe me, I'd rather have thousands of cats zooming by my window. Cats can't put out the stink that those big ?fragile? things can, nevermind the noise pollution, and it'd be alot cuter if a cat crashed into the median.

I have not known a single person who has died from herion, that I know of. Same goes for Everquest.

Honestly, I've considered Windows an E-bomb for years. You as much as sneeze and it will bomb out on you as often as not.
I absolutely loathe windows, but I gotta say that my 2K box has been up for half a month now. Which to my knowledge is quite amazing, for windows.

Only if its on a global scale and runs on both modern consoles through Java.
(Q is a GameCube clone by Panasonic that can play DVDs. It is unlikely, however, that it will ever be sold outside of Japan.)
And its unlikely the hardware is capable of reading games from DVD into the gamecube mainboard in the really nil-ish chance a game is ever put on one.
A PS2 has no relation to any sort of other existing hardwrare.

Umm, actualy it bears alot of resembalance to the PSX. So much so that it inherits many flaws and the entire game library of the older system.
